My review belongs to the front desk staff only.
I had an appointment scheduled for a crown installation on 5/4. I confirmed this appointment over the phone two days prior. When I came to the appointment, I was told that I actually rescheduled the appointment because "your son got sick”. Well, I don't have kids! Instead of apologizing, staff argued with me for several minutes trying to convince me that I had indeed called and rescheduled the appointment. Anyway, I left with a new date.

Today, I came to this appointment (5/12/23 2 pm), but now I was told that my insurance didn’t cover part of the cost of the crown and I need to pay the remaining balance in order to get it installed. Unfortunately, I came without any credit cards because I simply didn't plan to pay for anything.
When I asked why they didn't call me ahead of time to provide this information, Edna (sorry if I spelled it wrong) said that they only received this information yesterday. Well, in my opinion, they had more than enough time to contact me and make sure I came prepared (my appointment was at 2pm, they open at 8am)!
I'm so confused why couldn’t they provide service and mail the bill like other clinics do, especially since this was definitely their mistake. Now, because I am going to travel and then doctor Shapiro will be out of office, I have to wear a temporary crown for more than 2 months instead of 2 weeks!
This is ridiculous!

Want to note, that I’ve been a patient since 2019 and am very satisfied with Dr Shapiro and the nurses! They are excellent! Highly recommend

I have been coming to this dentist for about 3 years now and I am very happy with their services! I’m the usual every 6 monther and never miss my dentist apt. Todays visit was extra special as the dental hygienist was SO friendly and attentive and made sure that I had a great experience. I feel like each time I go I have a different hygienist, but today I had Sarah who was just absolutely amazing. She engaged in conversation with me and had a genuine curiosity of me as a person and truly did an amazing job on my cleaning. She was communicative with the water and suction hose and very accommodating and gentle while navigating my mouth while cleaning. It’s always an awkward intimacy but Sarah literally was so professional and careful. Even dabbed my mouth afterwards with the dental napkin! So nurturing and so so attentive! I then saw Dr Shapiro herself and she reassured me that my teeth looked great and I was on my way. I was literally in and out within 25 minutes for my visit today which in itself is amazing for a dentist apt. Had enough time to even get a hair cut as I coordinated this on my lunch break. Thanks team! This is why I keep coming back:)
