Marina Village Inn reviews
17What an beautiful place to go to right in our back yard! It reminded us of being in San Diego. This a local must go to place. The room was clean and spacious. We will be going back for another date night away!
Clean and updated. Due to Covid no breakfast or coffee in the office. Great view of the Marina. Staff is professional. Need a lesson on the remote for the heater though. LOL
If you want a clean, affordable room I'm the East Bay then I recommend this place. Nice furnishings, well maintained, charming and cute.
Visiting the Bay area I had a chance to stay at this quaint and lovely hotel located within the Alameda Marina right beside the yacht club. After checking I proceeded to go up the King Suite I booked and was welcomed with a very clean and comfortable room with a lovely view of the Marina as seen on the picture. My stay was a very comfortable and memorable one and I will gladly book a room at this place again and I suggest you do the same when visiting Alameda.
Very quiet right on the water it is the best deal you can find in this area not fancy stuff just a quiet room with a patio, comfortable bed and view of the bay oh and cable
This really is a decent inexpensive place to stay in Alameda. Rooms with water views of Oakland Estuary overlooking the boat marina are especially nice. Sitting on patio right now, sipping coffee and watching the boats and birds, very relaxing.
No wifi no good channels no connecting roku or fire stick u can't access it once plugged up rooms are old and cold
Hotel kinda old cable service is horrible u cant connect your roku they have Netflix but u cant login so dont expect much blankets not available bed has only Sheets and 1 thin cover no duvet rooms smell like wet carpet
Tacky motel with not very clean rooms and one of the rudest managers possible. Both my experience and that of my parents was awful. The owners should be ashamed.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is nice. Other than that I can't recommend this place. We wanted to shower before attending the event we were in town for, and there was no hot water. I suffered through a cold shower, but my husband's disability makes it unsafe for him to do so. We were given a slight discount for the inconvenience, but later discovered the heat in the room wasn't working either, so we spent a VERY uncomfortable, frigid night.
Needs work.smelled bad.but the collage girl at the desk was so nice and sweet.they have that going for them.
Nice location, but this motel is well past it's good life. It must have been pretty nice in 1967. The rooms should be more like $50 per night. Bring Lysol spray with you.
We like Marina Village and Alameda city. Familiar ambient, sports Installations and close to the SF Bay
Front desk customer service was awesome great personality. The room was really hot and I had to keep the air conditioner on and open the window. They should put 4 cups Just for convenience.
The room had condition issues: exposed wiring, areas where paint had been rubbed off the wall in big sections, and gouged drywall. The bathroom had a terrible sewer/septic smell so I shut the door and ran the fan. It made it worse. There is a venting problem drawing the smell through the pipes. I got into bed and there was a large stain on the top sheet so I moved to the other bed, got settled and the hall smoke alarm was chirping and someone started smoking weed. I had to turn on the fan on high to mask the sound and bring in fresh air. I will never stay here again.
This place is amazing. If you don't love excellent views, beautiful sunsets, and righteous staff, just outside your door (if not from your room), you should look elsewhere. It's a great place to stay, end of sentence.
