Marina Village Yacht Harbor reviews
11Sheltered from the larger chop by the long sand spit and rockwall but tons of wind for smooth sailing!
Great marina. Very easy going staff and nice to work with. Very accommodating. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. My wife and mother in law loved the clean bathrooms and warm, large shower stalls with area to store clothes after getting out. Well maintained, we will be back!
Beautiful, well kept marina with excellent staff who genuinely care
and are very helpful/responsive. Fellow boaters are very friendly, MVYH
is a wonderful community and marina.
I kept my Pacific Seacraft Dana 24 at Marina Village Yacht Harbor, Gate 8, from 2005 to 2020. My experience was excellent. The facilities were always well maintained and the staff was friendly and available.
I enjoy berthing at MVYH because the marina is well maintained, the staff is aware of what's going on and everyone is very friendly. I look forward to many years at Marina Village.
Love it here! So beautiful. Come by and say hi if you are interested in a beautiful place to keep your boat. It is close to dining, shopping and more. The new restrooms are beautiful too.
I was just treated like trash by a dock worker. Those in charge May want to think about reigning this person in a little bit. I won't be spending any money there and I would strongly recommend searching for a friendlier Marina if you are in need of a slip in the bay area.
I can’t say enough about Marina Village. If you’re looking for a new place for your boat to call “home” - or even if you’re not looking - give them a chance. You won’t regret it. The whole team is just amazing, beyond exemplary. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The other berthers create a community that you just want to be a part of. Join for the slips; stay for the good company.
Nice views -
In response to the owner comments: This is what you can do to improve the overall experience:
- Fix the air conditioners so that they work as they should and not as noisy. Read my review from February, different room, same issues.
- Get the front desk people to coordinate repairs when reported.
- Improve the ventilation in the rooms and hallways so that the stench of someone cooking fish in their rooms do not get propagated to other rooms.
- You could offer coffee or tea in the morning. Don't be stingy with the amenities.
- Get your hotel staff to empty the trash when the cans are overflowing and keep the grounds trash free.

Nice place for boats, but no protection for the cars. I wouldn't leave my car parked here.
