Mario's Italian Cafe reviews
14Great service and ambiance. My ahí Caesar salad was on point. My dad’s Margarita pizza was super bland though. I tried it and confirm. Otherwise solid choice.
Fun place for locals. Good food. Eat here every couple weeks.pasta, salad, veggies pizza.
We had an excellent time at Mario's and great pizza! Shelby was our server, and she was excellent! Very friendly and sweet and checked on us regularly, not the annoying way where it's too much. We met Harpo the clown and learned of his interesting story, it's worth learning about. High marks for Mario's and Shelby, we'll be back!
Extremely thankful staff. Food was delicious, well priced. Osso bucco was best I've had. Mario came out to greet us. Great experience
Brussels sprouts, chicken dish and garlic bread were over cooked. Waitress was very attentive.
I really like the atmosphere here, the waiter is very friendly, my friend and I ordered the shrimp pasta with a sauce of olive oil and cheese, the taste is great,
My husband and I had dinner and for two of us without drinks the bill only came to $40. Yummy spumoni for dessert! Service was okay but the server had an attitude and didn't bring parts of meal she said she would bring. Atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurant were impeccable. Food was great!
Great food. Always consistent and very good value too. We had a pizza which was very authentic and I had spaghetti & meatballs. So much food that we had to bring a ton home. Any time we're out in the Palm Springs area, Mario's Italian is a must!
Great place! You can always do better with the wine. I ordered a glass of Pinot Noir, but it tasted like Moscato. Other than that, it was very yummy.
We had a elderly blond woman service us. To sum it up, she needs to retire. Abrupt and forgetful.
Old fashioned Italian dining. Big glasses of wine, lots of choice and many deals depending on the day. We went on a Sunday around 4: 45 and they have a special for 18.05 that includes a choice of soup or salad, a choice from 20+ dinner choices and a dessert. Our party enjoyed the tossed salad and amongst the four of us, we tried shrimp scampi, lasagna, chicken primavera and a penne & spaghetti meat sauce dish of some kind all were very good. It was pretty busy and servers were busy. Certainly worth checking out.
The sauce had no flavor at all. The salad dressing was terrible. To be very honest, spaghetti at Denny's would have been better. Not happy at all. Don't waste your time and moi. Go elsewhere.
Great food, fabulous staff! A fun place to go on a Friday night. Mario "works the room" Friday evening. Lots of fun, lots of laughs. Harpo the clown was there too. His mom used to clown with Red Skeleton. Mario and family work hard to make great restaurants, there are six in the desert.
Servings are generous well prepared. The service is pleasant, prompt, and helpful. I like the atmosphere.
