Mariposa at Playa del Rey Apartments

Just reached my first 30 days in this complex. Markesha is GREAT and made moving in a smooth and easy transition for me. The entire leasing team has been a pleasure to work with so far as well. One of the most dog friendly buildings I've ever lived in. Also- you can't beat the location. 6 minutes to LAX, short walk to the beach. Neighborhood is pretty quiet for the most part. Highly recommend.

Been living here for a few weeks now and everything has been great. Arturo, one of the maintenance guys, has been over a couple times now to fix anything faulty and is quick and efficient. The entire leasing/office team was very helpful through the leasing process as well. Loving it so far!

Terrible experience, filth and issues at every turn.

We've had an awful experience with this Apartment Complex. The gym has been closed for two weeks now, and they do not clean the surrounding area. There is constant renovation going on, which creates a lot of inconvenience. The elevators are not working, and the garage is just filthy. Moreover, mail is consistently being stolen. The workers who are employed here just roam around in groups, smoking and eating. The bills keep increasing, and the overall atmosphere is simply terrible. I do not recommend dealing with this Company.

Arturo replaced the water heater within just hours of reporting the issue. He work was quick, clean and has effective communication skills.

Arturo helped out with fixing our range oven's motherboard super quickly, pretty much on the same day we reported for maintenance.

Had a super seamless application process thanks to Markesha! She was super accessible and helpful when I was in a hurry to sign a lease and walked me clearly through the application and move-in process, all while being super friendly and kind. Have lived here for a couple weeks now and love my apartment and the amenities. Service requests have been completed super quickly! Highly recommend this place:)

Maintenance Arturo arrived at my apartment almost immediately to fix my microwave and balcony screen door. Quick and efficient repairs. Really appreciate it!

Garage space always like that picture (always dirty, plus many more workers carry garbage and never close the common doors to the entrance).

Cleaning inside the entrances once a week and then not always.

I can't wait until I can move to a cleaner and safer place to live!

We had a an issue with the heater not working and today one of the staff came in and got everything solved. Arturo V. Was super professional helpful and kind. He explained the problem and went right ahead to fix it. Excellent service from Arturo.

I have been living in this apartment building for a while now and unfortunately, I have noticed several issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, the cleanliness of the building is not up to standard, as I have noticed trash and debris in the common areas that have not been cleaned for some time. Additionally, the gym has been closed for an extended period of time, which is disappointing as it was one of the amenities that attracted me to this building in the first place. Lastly, there have been ongoing renovation projects that have caused noise and disruption, and it seems like these could have been completed much more quickly than they have been.

I believe that these issues should be addressed as soon as possible, as they impact the quality of life for residents and can cause frustration and dissatisfaction. I would appreciate it if management could take action to improve these aspects of the building and make it a more comfortable and enjoyable place to live.

Arturo was great! I put in a maintenance request for my dryer and Arturo arrived not long after. Very nice gentleman. He fixed the problem quickly and was on his way. Thank you!

Blanca helped us out a lot in our apartment transfer. She was patient with us and got us through the whole process. Very thankful towards her.

I am looking for an apartment for myself and when I arrived at your complex I saw a lot of ugly and dirty things and realized that I could not live here in such conditions.there is no need to contact you, everything is already visible with your own eyes

While we had some trouble getting maintenance to come and fix our washing machine, Arturo V.made up for it. He was incredibly kind and diligent. He spent some time inspecting the machine and ended up replacing it because he didn’t want us to have further trouble. We are very grateful. Thank you!

Ignacio and Arturo always come in clutch when things break. Having things work is a critical part of life. My 3rd year here and that has been consistent for sure.

Arturo V.has been very helpful with our maintenance needs. He came to our apartment after 8pm to fix a water leakage in our closet, while also fixed our broken outlet cover. He was very nice, and completed the job promptly. If we need further maintenance issues to be solved, i’m glad people like Arturo are here to help!
