Food was great as well as the service. A little pricey for me ($15 for a Carne asada burrito) however it was delicious.

They give you very good service, everything is clean.

I live down the street from this gem. Today was my first day here with my husband and two kids; let me tell you the food was excellent! The shrimp, the sushi, the octopus! They even have a huge kids menu which was a plus for me. I will definitely be coming here often. They play live music, have tvs that are playing live sports, and a guy that walks in occasionally that sells bracelets, toys, and balloons so have your cash ready if you have little ones

I had a very bad experience from this place, the other two very good food, service to begin with, the waitress only came to my table twice and the rest because I spoke to her about the other two Costa Alegre restaurants that I visited most often when you get to your place. At the table they offer you a glass of soup and toast, so your order arrives here. I had to tell the waitress to give me some because at the other tables she was giving them and with more face she gave them to me and when she brought us what we We ordered, I ordered a chicken alfredo pasta because the pasta bo brought the chicken and then I told another waitress that I ordered the pasta with chicken and she brought it aside on another plate and in large pieces I couldn't even enjoy the pasta as it goes with her chicken together because the pieces of chicken were large and in the other restaurants I ordered that pasta and the chicken in small squares inside the pasta, not separated on the outside. The truth is I would never return to that place in Monterrey, just because I was from that place we passed oh but I will never return oh.

The food is very good. Service is prompt and they check on how you're doing regularly. No pressure to order a certain amount. Eat as much or as little as you like. Prices are reasonable too. There is no parking so you have to park in the neighborhood.

I was looking for some Fish tacos and found this Taqueria in San Jose on Monterey Highway. The menu is very big and they have a full variety of Mexican seafood. Cocktails, Fish Tacos, Sushi, Grilled Salmon, Steamed fish with veggies. Rice and beans also available. Molcajetes and Caldos de pescado. Shrimp available in different plates and the traditional CARNE ASADA. The restaurant has the covered patios and flat screen TV's available to watch the latest Futbol and Football games. The service was great. Bilingual Spanish English waitresses and the men cooking handling all of the safe food preparation. The Mexican music playing on the speakers. Not too loud. Enough to enjoy and be able to speak without YELLING! LOL!

I got the Marlin fish tacos and the rice water AKA HORCHATA! Instead of chips and salsa the appetizer was a cute small cup of Pozole with a plain tostada? 1st time for me to experience that. It was splendid. I had to order the Empanadas de Camarones to go for later. They have 3 locations in San Jose Ca. Look at their website and online menu and if you are ever visiting NORCAL. Make sure you stop by. They have daily specials too. Plenty of Mexican beers for those of you looking for that buena PEDA!
