Market Tavern, Stockton CA

Was very disappointed in their prime rib sandwich! Tasted like old meat that had been reheated. This was lunch time and should have been fresh!

Thai place is outstanding! Great food, great housemade thousand island salad dressing, great pizza Napolitana even great tasting diet cokes! That's how good this place was and is.

Got really great service tonight. The deviled eggs and key lime pie is really amazing. I had the cobb salad which was nice for a change to eat a healthy green salad.

Food was great. Had the salmon. Crisp on both sides and tender in the center. Wedge salad was delicious too.

Came across this restaurant by chance. It’s located in upscale Lincoln Center. Atmosphere is fun, amazing drinks & food. Even when busy the service is great. Food is wonderful!

Wonderful food. Had driven all day and tried this restaurant that the hotel recommended. Great food. I highly recommend the Summer Lasagna.

The taste of the place does not work apart they cook everything very quickly and that raw does not taste very bad place to eat I do not recommend it

I am really upset! I am dining here today and we were waiting for a table and YOU placed us in the back of the restaurant inside the curtains.there were SEVERAL tables inside the dining room OPEN! I don’t understand the seating arrangements here. NOT HAPPY AT ALL! Going to Huckleberries next time. ALWAYS better seating!

I ordered a wedge salad with salmon. The fish was raw, and my salad came with some brown pieces, also the core came in the lettuce. Not a happy girl. I appreciate that I was comped on my bill. My last experience here was good, so I'll come back. Just not for salad.

What a great find! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all exceptional! Our waitress, Amy, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to.
Definitely will be back!

I tried three items, beef stroganoff, mary’s grilled chicken sandwich, and the hummus appetizer with pure bread.the stroganoff was okay, the sauce was very thin and i prefer a thicker sauce.the grilled chicken sand which was amazing! And the hummus with pita bread was amazing as well.our server was okay, she wasn’t super attentive and didn’t converse with us much.but she was super nice and did bring everything over quickly.

This is our normal " go-to" restaurant when we have a celebration. Great selection of food types to choose from. Normally, you'll need reservations a few days in advance. Good selection of craft beer and the bartenders make great drinks.

It also has a great little deli inside. I bought an espresso chocolate chip loaf to take home after our dinner. It was excellent, too!

After a visit yesterday that other than the service and apps was not very pleasant, where I traveled 30+ minutes to get to, I definitely will look closer to home to spend over 200 dollars on lunch. The host admonishing at the front about her being inconvenienced/put out when her table selection for my reservation wasn't going to work for me, to the main entress were beyond disappointing. After I tried to reach out twice today only to hear there was no Manger on duty or on a second phone call being told they were too busy with a shift exchange to take my call, just a message, I can see why the hosts rudeness and the subpar food happened. What was usually my go to spot when us ladies lunch together, to family celebrations several times over the past year have to come to an end. In this economy I can be treated all whole lot better for less money closer to home.

Service was a bit inattentive, and the price was not reflective of the quality of the meal, will give it another try.

Nice atmosphere, good menu options, good bar. I’ve been here a few times but went back recently. The service was excellent Ave the food was good. Had one of my new favorites, espresso martini. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good.

The Waitress and Host were very polite, explained the specials and welcomed us to their most Excellent restaurant. The Jalapeño Bacon Deviled Eggs and Smoked Octopus with potatoes appetizers were Soo Delicious And, The Main Courses were Also top notch.

We very much enjoy the food at Market Tavern and have always had great service until our last time there in late June. We had a party of five, and a young lady by the name of Grace was our server. Everyone at the table was surprised by her attitude. She was impatient and even blatantly rolled her eyes twice while waiting for all of us to give her our orders. Let it be known that we did not take our time when ordering, however, we did have two questions about the food ingredients being that one person in our party had food allergies. Regardless, she seemed to be in a rush, and not the usual, friendly server that we expected. This left us questioning if and when we'll be returning to Market Tavern anytime soon.

The atmosphere The patrons and the staff are all great to be around. But the food is magnificent! This is the short rib dish with Polenta. The picture is deceiving as it is a healthy serving and I have never been able to eat all of it at once.
