I will never go back to this place. Here was my terrible experience with my 1.5 year old, sweet and playful German Shepherd at Camp Run-a-Muck:
I arrived and immediately the staff did not seem like they wanted anything to do with me or my dog. I asked to see the facilities where I was going to leave him, and they said no.first red flag. I took it upon myself to observe the area, trainers, and everything seemed good (even though it was nothing like the pictures online). The only place they keep the dogs is in a fenced in dirt lot. (They did have a splash pad which he loved playing in).
Fast forward to picking him up 4 hours later, he was FILTHY. From behind the fence, he was jumping up on it like he couldn't wait to escape (which he doesn't normally do) and was covered in mud, dirt, and was whining.extremely inconvenient and upsetting. The staff that brought him out to me suggested we do training classes because he was playing with another dog (friendly play) and the other dog didnt like it. He immediately fell asleep in the car, instead of sticking his head out the window like normal, and when we got home, I told him no and he ran skiddishly away like he had been abused. Also, his collar was cinched down so tight it was hard to take off.they tightened it at least half an inch. We do not hit our dog, or restrain him so this was extremely unnerving to see. He slept the rest of the day mostly and was not his normal happy, loving self. Do not bring your dog to this horrid place.

Love how well they care for my dogs here! Absolutely no worries when I'm out of town. They also offer grooming, so it's nice to pick them up after a weekend away and they're fluffy and smelling good! Amazing staff, highly recommend.

Have completed 2 private sessions for dog training. Great advice and learning a lot. My dog is walking a lot better now. You can teach an old dog new tricks with consistency and the right approach!

I wouldn't think of leaving my two cats anywhere else. They are well taken care of, loved and given plenty of room to play.
I retract this past review. When I picked up my cats a few weeks ago, one was afraid to come out of her cage and cowered when she saw one of the workers. Her hindquarters were smeared with feces. I heard under new management but I cannot confirm this.
