Mark's Hot Dogs reviews
18This is San Jose's old time favorite. It's an iconic place here in San Jose. In my opinion, this is the best place for chili dogs. And not only that, nachos are best too. The service is good. Car hop service. I've been coming to this place for years. I recommend this place.
The service is way better on Capitol than it was out Alum Rock.
Car Hop gal is nice, Hot dog is huge
I jock the orange stucco geodesic polyhedron.
A San Jose tradition. The hotdog are quality with generous toppings. The fries so crispy. The server comes to your car. Remember to bring cash for tips.
Growing up this WAS the place to eat! Not satisfying at at all. Chili from a can! Costco dogs are better, and you can make em at home!
Good hotdogs, but it seemed undercooked this time. Little disappointed that supplies are limited still and couldn't get any fries.
8$ for a hotdog that costs 1$ if that and bun is approx. 50 cents. What happened? I remember i used to get these for 3-4$ guess ill continue to make them at home.
This place is a staple of my childhood and probably many other 90s babies that had parents/ grandparents living around this hood for decades! But my dad and I went tonight after having intense cravings… let me tell you! Never a disappointment, it brought me back 20+ years with their chili cheese dogs with onions. The lady that helped us was super nice and the food came out quick! Thank you guys for tonight and all the many other nights we came here for a late night fix of classics dogs!
I was biting into a delicious chili cheese dog and I felt a hair, the hair was actually in the food
It's a rarity of San Jose's traditional customs that still stands to today's tuff "GENTRIFICATION ", reminding us of good things, places & eateries around our Bay Area.
Man I tried to get there today Friday 11/18/22 I didn't arrive until after 4 and they already closed. The hours need to be changed. I'm still trying to get their hotdogs while they are still in business. Not the greatest food and atmosphere but it was really different long ago and this is one of those generational places families like my own used to go for car hop service. If your in East San Jose between 12-3pm. Get one. Try it before the giant orange serves their last takeout.
Got the chili cheese dog and a soda and it was 12 bucks and totally delicious. The staff were really cool. Very unassuming place classic snacks and just really cool building and set up.
Fun place to try. Hot dogs were the kind my wife likes. They were much bigger than I expected. I shouldn't have ordered two.
I haven't been here since I was a kids and the hot dogs were good the nachos were expensive and stail the soda was all carbonation and no flavor. Definitely not worth the 72$ for just hotdogs and sodas for a family of six.
Good hot dogs and great hot links. But they're always out of hot links. And this place is dam expensive. Plus, what kind of eatery closes at 4pm during the week. People are barely getting out of work around that time! SMH
Yes they're pricey but then again, what isn't these days? Rather pay for one of theirs than the cheaper ones at that national chain whose name used to start with "Der". Only gripe I have is that they close too early and there's not enough parking. This type of drive-in dining would be perfect for classic car gatherings like Bob's Big Boy in Socal
I love it so does mezy's pop's and mezy's mom but who love's the most is mezy's grandma and we all never wan't them to go out'a business cuz this how good it is pul's this where mezy's dad and mezy's mom meat
Disgusting! Went there 9/28/22 just before closing, got home, unwrapped my hot dog and got a soggy bun with a hair in it. Never again!
