Marmalade Cafe - Sherman Oaks

Services: poor, we wait for 45 minutes to have coffee that was suppose to be drinking while our food was ready; coffee was with no taste and kind a cold… also I asked for sugar for my coffee and the server didn’t bring it. My daughter in law, needed to go and bring it to the table! Other thing that I was asked for, was some salsa o spicy sauce that was not bring it to the table, my son needed to go and remind the waiter to bring some! We did not have equal service that other people that came after we did, they were served almost at the same time! That I will go again to this restaurant and recommended to friends and family? No!

Nice and relaxed neighborhood spot. Street metered parking or a small lot behind the building is available but the lot fills up quick. Food is above average and service is very friendly. Well worth a visit.

I love coming here, food here is amazing, great waiters, always happy I only have one problem, they are expensive! Great for special occasion. If you like crab, you will love their crab tacos best I ever had, they give you three of them very generous on the crab itself, super worth the $20; this will be the only thing I order when I come, it's so good & great for the price!

Before I treated my girlfriend to a birthday lunch yesterday 8/10/23 I went to website to check out menu. As I am a senior and on a budget and gluten free. I saw the Cobb salad 13.99 and the chicken tacos 12.99. When we got there the menu said 15.99 for 1/2 Cobb salad and 16.99 for tacos. I tried the tacos they couldn’t be picked up the shell as watery and the chicken was like jerky. It came with a tiny pile of chips but no salsa. It seemed run down my girlfriends chair was ripped. I didn’t want to complain then because it would ruin her birthday!

A very busy lunch crowd fills this restaurant with incredible energy. The servers are knowledgeable, friendly and efficent. The menu is quite complete, however, the one warm vegan item, a burger, was sold out. I ordered the guacamole. My wife and our friend had the mushroom soup and salad. They liked both the soup and salad.

A large tent has been set in the rear of the eatery.

There's a full service bar.

Everything is wheelchair accessible. There are three bathrooms: male and female with grab assist bars and a gender neutral bathroom which is not wheelchair accessible.

Free parking in their lot behind the restaurant or underground in their parking lot. The elevator is located on the east side of the garage.

Courteous valet parking is also offered.

Food was good as well as the atmosphere. Was quiet enough that we could hear each other talk.

Calamari was subpar, nothing like it used to be. Cioppino was mostly soup. Had to hunt for overcooked shellfish and shrimp. Asked my friend, who ordered overcooked short ribs, to please stop buying their Groupon offers cuz I am not going back.

Great place to have brunch/ lunch. Servers do forget about you and drinks are water down. Food is yummy if brought to you warm. This is the second time going. The first time wasnt as great but food was good. Second time, our food was cold by the time it got to us.

Love this place. First time and it was great. The chicken and waffles were tasty. I recommend it. I used the outside setting and it worked for my group

Marmalade Sherman Oaks is a good location. Food is great, staff is wonderful, especially Daisy the manager, she aims to provide excellent customer service! I’ve been a customer for many years

Food quality and service could use improvements. And so could human interactions. Yet, the large patio in the back is a plus.

Ok when you walk in through the back and walk up to the front the back smells like sewage and bathroom and cleaner mixed together. The restaurant was empty. As far as the meatloaf, turkey meatloaf is descent nut way too heavy on the stomach. Green beans had flavor and the mash was nothing special. I mean it's a descent place but that odor was a turn off.

Food was delicious and the staff was nice, only issue was our food took forever to come out

Ate outside, cute large dining area. Typical LA basic brunch, nothing too unique or too bad.
