Marriott's Desert Springs Villas I, Palm Desert CA

Condos are in the process of updating. Very comfortable rooms. Been coming to this property in mid September for the past 15 years for a golf outing, usually have the place to ourselves. Covid-19 changed that pool area was loaded with families.

Worst experience of my life, I was racially profiled and harrast untill I was evicted for no reason. Security guard was harassing and being disrespectful. I will be following up with a unlawful lawsuit. Security was laughing as we left the premises and we won't be provided with our money back or anything. Please don't ever come to this place.

Rooms are fine. Larger than most, but a little dated.

Despite what's on their website, they do not offer dry cleaning services! I scheduled my plans expecting I could drop off my dry cleaning when I check in (after 1am), and have my clothes ready by the evening.

But they do not offer dry cleaning. They don't even have a recommendation for a local company who can do same day cleaning! I slept 3 hours less than I had planned so I could drop off my dry cleaning @ 7am.

Dry cleaning services are listed at least 3 times on their website. It's so easy to update, so I have to assume it was just laziness.

To some this doesn't seem like a big deal, but my only getting 3 hours sleep vs 7 hours is a HUGE problem for me.

Marriott, just update your website! Please!

The check-in is a line, probably because of an old system that takes 15 -20 minutes for each person to be done. They have several pools that are different in size and location. The pool next to Building A is warm, but not very clean. The rooms are new and give you the feeling of a five-star hotel, you just need to clean the spider nets. The kitchen appliances are sterile and ready to be used. I highly recommend it for a vacation

Abraham at the Shade recreational center taught a yoga and stretch class. The first day, I dropped off my wife and left. Today, Abraham encouraged me to stay and reluctantly I did. I told him I wasn’t flexible at all and he was very very accommodating, caring, professional and went a above and beyond. I just wanted to write to have him recognized for representing the Marriott brand so well.

First time here, not only the hotel but the city. The hotel had pretty much everything and it’s really nice and big, they even have a shuttle so you don’t have to drive to the pools or restaurants inside the hotel. I stayed in a studio so it had pretty much everything and was really spacious, the hotel have a little market and grills too! Definitely worth it coming to spend time here with your significant other or with family and friends!

This is great destination if want a quiet place with plenty of activities to do. I love the desert, its panorama, sunsets, and night skies. In regards to the villas; they are amazing and reasonable for family or adult travelers.

The 4 stars instead of the 5, was due to the pool water quality was poor and not properly maintained.

We love Marriott! Accommodation is always superb, clean spacious rooms with everything you need. Only downside was the pool which was not sparkling clean as we expected. Next day was closed for maintenance.

Horrible experience, Christian is a super rude manager! Room was supposed to be ready to check in at 4 pm, checked in at 3: 30 pm and villas were not available until 5: 30 pm and just imagine with 5 kids in the car waiting to get a room… Manager won’t even bother to listen to customers and not even trying to help… Never again

If I could only give them -5 stars that’s what they deserve for their customer service.

Upgrade your wifi. Should not be calling yourself a resort if you have motel wifi. Unbelievable that we pay these rates and deal with horrible wifi.

One of the best places I've ever seen. Nice Villas, many pools, great staff, and in the most perfect spot. The mountains are extremely beautiful.

Room smelled bad and they dont change bed sheets. We had someones hair on bed and in shower.

Crazy heat wave but it was so nice to be in the villa! A/C works well I will say that! Pools were nice. Staff was so friendly. We had a great time!

When we first walked in the suite, we were greeted by a dead cockroach in the living room. I called and spoke to Angel, manager, and complained about how unsanitary this is but he didn't care and said it's normal during the hot weather. All he offered us was a $25 for wine or credit towards our room. I said thats unacceptable and ask for his superior, he said I'm the manager. I asked for the number to corporate office to file a complaint. When i file a complaint, no one return my call and addressed the situation. Horrible experience and probably won't return after the poor customer service that I received. Marriot needs to do better and make sure their customers are satisfied with their stay.

The room was very nice. Equipped with a small kitchenette. Everything was high quality and sustainable. Large TV, fast internet, large balcony right on the golf course. Very quiet. Parking in front of the front door. The area was very nice (if we hadn't made a road trip, we would have stayed longer) There was also a pool area nearby

The reception staff were not very helpful when we wanted to stay an extra night. We had to book that online ourselves. It's not possible! The pool area was the large pool locked because the water was cloudy (tilted). The small pool wasn't much better from the water. A little clearer though. The man who is responsible for the pool was obviously not trained. He filled various chemicals from various canisters into the pool by feel. This can be done better.

Me and the wife in a two bedroom for a week. Would stay again. Our room was nice location on green of a hole. Kids came out of the woodwork around dusk and played on golf course which is fine but the sprinklers would go off and you probably don’t want to be playing in reclaimed water. I suggest telling parents at check in or some signage.

Great place for kids and stayed for 4 nights. Friendly staff and great restaurants and the spa was perfect

Very well maintained well-kept property. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Amazing multiple pools to choose from. Beautiful property and amazing Golf Course. Had a great time

We had a wonderful time, everyone as usual was great. In particular I would like to recognize Carrie at the front desk she was the best. She is very very professional and friendly. The quality of her customer service that she provides is something you don't find much of anymore and is always a wonderful experience when you do.
