Martha's Old Mexico Restaurant, Sebastopol CA

I wish there was a 4.5 option because this place is delightful! The food portions were massive and delicious. The folks working were delightful. I think if they had draft beer, it's a 5 star! However, I got this massive, incredibly priced margarita and it was delicious!

The BEST Mexican food in Sebastopol and the out door patio is magical! I often stop in to pick up lunch to go.

Well, we have been going here for years. Generally every sunday. Over the years it has just declined. Recently while eating on the back patio we seen rats in the middle of the day running around under the table next to us. The waitress is rude. The cook is yelling obscenities in spanish at the other cook. The portions have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up. We haven't been since the rat incident, and don't plan on returning.

The meal and atmosphere and service was great! I think the salsa, bean dip and chips really put a bad spin on the meal. Change that and meal will be 5 star

Food was great & tasty… but unfortunately, the service was terrible.
It was not that busy at all when we came in. It took over 10 minutes & one of us going to the counter to ask for service.
The server didn’t make us feel welcome at all. Didn’t get us any drink till minutes even after asking for service.and we got adult beverages which orders were not consistent with what we asked for.
Serving us seem to be a chore and with all of us having serving backgrounds. I’m not sure what the lack of serving was for us.
Again, food was DELICIOUS but you get a low score due to service. Super unfortunate.

Ate dinner at Martha's with my sister and brother in law. Great food, great service.
I would come back soon, except that I live in San Diego, and it's a long drive!

I love Mexican food but when I want something different I go to Martha’s most Mexican restaurants in Taquerias Primo serve the same stuff but this place is different Martha’s especial.

This is the best restaurant in town. Cute backyard, good food, reasonable prices given the portions.

What more could you want?

Fantastic restaurant with great food and service. Backyard patio was a great addition to the dining experience and the seafood enchiladas did not hold back on the seafood.

My wife and I had lunch at Martha's Old Mexico Restaurant for the first time in a long while. We like to sit out back where the restaurant opens up to an adjoining hillside. I ordered an El Grande chicken burrito. I have not had a good burrito in a long time. Even though this burrito was pretty huge, I enjoyed every bite of it. The chips with bean dip were an extra added attraction. My wife ordered fajitas and we both left very satisfied and agreeing we would not wait too long for a return visit.

Pleasantly surprised of this place! Tacos are different than I expected, but they were delicious! I definitely recommend this place.

We called in a takeout order - dinner for 6, since we were expecting company. What a hit! The food was all so fresh and tasty, plenty for everyone, they were super organized, even helped carry it to the car. We've gone there for years for dine-in and that's been awesome too.the garden patio out back is a delight, and the food and service is consistently excellent. The whole crew there is awesome. We are so thankful for them, and glad the business survived through the pandemic. I strongly recommend Martha's Restaurant.

Taco salad was huge, and a flour tortilla nice and crispy, with fresh salad on it, but then a giant portion of beef (you can order what meat) with a lot of re-fried beans, cheese, rice, even beets were on this, even an entire serving of guacamole! It had cheeses, and sauces and it was the best, was a wonderful lunch.

Stopped in for the first time before catching a movie around the block. I had the fish taco with rice and beans. Good serving, not too much. Cold Bohemia beer and crunchy chips served with sides of salsa and beans. Folx here we're super chill and friendly. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Sebastopol.

Had not been to Martha's in a while and we are sorry we hadn't. We forgot how wonderful the food is and how friendly everyone is even when they are busy. Thank you for a wonderful meal and we will be back.

Martha’s is my favorite and my go-to restaurant in Seb (my parents and sis too)! The food is always so flavorful and delicious and everyone there is always so nice. Thank you for continuing to delight us with your food and hospitality with every visit!
