Martin de Porres House of Hospitality reviews
9 Hello! Vegetarians! Love high quality food, claustrophobic, want to eat a lot. Come on in!
Come as you are. Ran out of money, lost a job, don't have a kitchen, can't cook, RV camping, budget traveling, just simply lonely, just come.
It is extremely clean. They scrub it down to the t. If you are a germ phobic person, don't worry. It's clean.
The cooks here are first class and nothing short of a fine dine. It shouldn't be free The moment you eat one mouthful, you will be in heavenly place. I'm a tough critique when it comes to food because I am a cook and my mother ran a cooking school. It's really good.
If you have access to extra fresh produce please donate them. If you have time, please volunteer. If you have cash, please donate. If you know how to pray, please pray where ever you maybe.
When i need to save money, very urgently, i come here to avoid food shopping and dining out. I'm telling you, evey day is fine dining.
Hospitality is above and beyond.
Monday through Friday they serve the biggest and best (nutritional and flavorful) meal in San Francisco. I have been going through some rough financial times and these magical humans have helped me through. I am very thankful and have a full belly.
Nuthin' but Love Acceptance & Nourishment 4 your tummy & your heart from these folks Plus: BEST drinking fountain water in town BEST logs 2 lay on BEST scented scraggly roses around. Atmosphere invites conversations (or not) & friendships. I met my guy there many, many years ago. Thank You, Martin's, for caring. For being there. For helping me on my journey?
This place is full of very friendly people who actually make a positive influence in the community they serve. I would give them 10 starts if it were possible!
They helped my brother the years he was living rough in San Francisco. This haven is run by Earth bound Angels. Can't say enough about this haven for those in society that are struggling for a variety of reasons.
A safe space where folks experiencing homelessness can get a hearty meal. Showers, restrooms, clothing, and other community outreach services are also offered by a collection of some of SF's very best volunteers.
I first started going to Martin de Porres with my friends to get lunch because they would fill up any containers that we brought with soup. It is unlike any soup kitchen I have ever been to because there is a patio where you can eat and smoke outdoors, the servers are friendly and accommodating, there is a minimal wait, and the food is delicious and wholesome.
Martin de Porres Hospitality House was fantastic! I loved it they were all so nice! Thanks so much I'll come back again!
Always lots of oatmeal. Always free. And a variety of eggs, bread, fruit, tea, doughnuts, for homeless and others. A quiet sojourn from cold and the bustle.
