Mary Vagle Nature Center reviews
15Awesome park! Great getaway from the city life. This park is conveniently located in between a residential area but once you enter you immediately feel at peace. The atmosphere is serene. You have ducks, turtles, and Koi fish in the pond and just behind that there's a nice walking trail that leads to Martin Tudor park it's about a mile long great for the family. The restrooms are clean but they do close by 5pm.
A nature preserve with great view of the local mountains, this park has a duck pond that’s quiet and calm. There’s a hiking area next to it for the more adventurous, love that’s it’s just so peaceful and clean the beauty of nature in full display.
I love it here. When I'm stressed out I come to this park just sit back and watch the ducks. It's beautiful.
My wife and I like to come here and feed the ducks small pieces of vegetables. The center has many activities.
Nice place to relax and watch a little bit of nature, except for some of the people who just sit in their cars for hours.
It's a great place to sit down on a bench and watch the ducks wander around the pond, it's nice and quiet. Would recommend.
Nice trails for kids. Lots of wildlife and natural beauty. The pond is pretty because you are not allowed to feed the animals, so there is no algae or litter. There are koi fish in the pond, but no fishing or swimming.
We saw squirrels, butterflies, turtles, hawks, ducks, geese, and baby geese! There are many native flowers, trees, and brush along the trail and some pretty spots with a small creek.
There is a small educational center with taxidermied animals and live creatures like bugs, spiders, snakes, lizards, and chinchillas. Restrooms are clean.
Decently populated and the trails are the best around tbh in terms of length and cleanliness
Beautiful to explore and see nature. It has hiking trails, pond with ducks. No swimming, fishing or feeding the animals. A please to have a picnic or just enjoy nature. Will be going back
Love coming here! It's always clean and never too many people throughout the week. I recommend bringing your kids when the center itself is open!
Quaint little spot that's right up to jurupa hill. Very small though, so not much to walk around it, but you can easily get to Martin Tudor park from a dirt alleyway on one side of the park.
Amazing free nature center and museum. Great for kids who love nature and learning about California native flora and fauna.
The guide who is in the reception center is a very kind person with an immense knowledge of the place and its species. He receives you with immense love and gives you all the guidelines so that you can enjoy the place
This park is so beautiful, it is suitable for climbing mountains with your family, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant, the mountains are green and the water is green, I like it very much
We took our puppy their for a walk
There are lots of trails at a pond with very friendly ducks
