Masjid Fresno مسجد Islamic Center reviews
13Assalamo alaikum wa rhmatullahi wa barakatuh. Great leadership (Sheikh Ramadan) leads to great achievements (continuance reversion of the masses to the faith of Mohammad (saw).) May ALLAH (SWT) guides us all back to the Truth Insha'Allah!
Very good kutabas by Imam Ramzalan. Every topic is well prepared and very nicely articulated. Parking is an issue if slightly late.
Visited this location in August 2023 from Cerritos, CA. Loved it. Great masjid. Wonderful people. Very clean. Nice wadu area. Lot going on here. Excellent community. Alhamdulillah.
I liked the Masjid. Clean and have big spaces inside and a lot of parking outside. People in the Masjid are very nice.
The Masjed is Allah house. I have always go to the Masjed to pray and read. I was shocked that they changed the masjid to occupied business and not allowing muslims to stay in peace on their own. I was kicked out because they were lecturing kids! When I was in my home country (Muslims country) it was ok to stay read on the corner by your own while other lecturers around as soon as you are not disrespecting the policy. I guess Masjed Fresno is more to business side than welcoming place for all Muslims. I think if they are planning to open an Islamic school for kids, they better open a business not converting Allah house to a business!
The only mosque I like going to in fresno. Nothing wrong with the other ones per say, I just like this one better. The space for women is just to my liking. Even the people who come here is somehow more welcoming and diverse.
Nestled within Masjed Fresno, one cannot help but appreciate the evident focus on cleanliness, particularly the well-maintained carpet. The masjed diligently upholds a standard of cleanliness, ensuring that the carpet is spotless and free from debris. This attention to detail fosters a peaceful and hygienic environment, allowing worshippers to engage in prayers and reflections with a sense of tranquility.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Shihk Ramadhan and Shihk Omar for their insightful classes and exceptional care of the masjed. The teachings have been enlightening, and their dedication to maintaining a welcoming environment is deeply appreciated. Thank you for your valuable contributions to the community.
We drove from the Bay Area for almost 4 hours with young kids and elderly and we made our first stop to this masjid. We were excited to see the masjid, but we couldn’t get in because the gate was locked. This was our first visit to Fresno and we were disappointed to find the masjid door closed. It was not prayer time yet, but it was day time and over 2 hours before Zuhr time. We were travelers and we preferred to visit the masjid, get refreshed and make Wudu, but unfortunately we could not. Are we supposed to only open the masjid at prayer times?
Attended as an non-observant for a relative's in-law who was a lovely woman in life. The Imam was clear and instructive to the funeral process which was quite moving that practical strangers would participate in prayer for a Muslim sister.
Pristine interior, comfortable temperature, clear sound system!
My to go place for praying with Jama’at. Sheikh Ramadan is an amazing scholar and knowledgeable person. Absolutely amazing to pray behind him!
Prayed here while traveling. Very clean masjid inside and out with an impressively accommodating wudu area. The floor in the praying area is one of the softest I’ve prayed on. Will make sure to return if I’m in the area again.
It is very beautiful Masjid MashAllah and have a lot of room downstairs and upstairs also separate room for women as well MashAllah
Love the masjid, but management is absolutely wrong for hiring non-Muslim security during Jummah prayer. These security guards have no respect or compassion within them for the Muslim community. A handicapped brother wanted to park in the parking lot, and even though he could have easily parked there and made it into the masjid, the security guard had no compassion or mercy towards him. Instead, the guard was being very assertive, indifferent, and rude to the brother. Someone else tried stepping in to mediate, but the guard was still being indifferent. This is NOT how a Muslim, or even a human-being, should be treated at a Masjid of all places. Management at this masjid needs to reconsider who they hire as security. I’m sure there’s Muslim owned security companies in Fresno. Do better, inshaAllah.
