Massage Envy, Newport Beach CA

Jamie keyed on my neck tension and found the perfect pressure to work out the muscles to get me centered.

I did not check any stars because my massage last night doesn’t warrant any. I cannot express to you how inappropriate the communication was from the lady (Angela N.in Newport Beach) performing my ‘massage’…she talked the entire hour about ‘being the vessel of Jesus Christ’ and being a ‘healer not a massage therapist’. She was ‘chanting’ prayers under her breathe while working stating ‘devil be gone’. I thought she would stop but she didn’t. Moreover, although I did know it would not be a ‘deep tissue’ massage, the ‘therapy’ provided was far below any type of ‘therapeutic massage’ I’ve ever experienced. I did want to focus on my lower back nerve issues, but my massage therapist spent quite a bit of time just moving her hands over my chest area over the sheets…saying she was a vessel of Jesus Christ and healing me through him?
Please know that I’ve never left a review for anyone like this before. I want someone at massage envy to be aware of this woman’s approach and how completely inappropriate it is. Hopefully she will revise.

I once went years ago and got Miriam and since then I haven’t changed therapists. I am so happy I met her years ago and if you decide to go to massage envy, Miriam is the best!

LaTonya gave the best massage I’ve had in a long time. My right hip was a bit tight from a long flight I recently took. She was able to work out a lot of tension I had and gave me some great advice to work out my hip even more at home. I highly recommend her.

Billy is my go to. I have my next 6 months booked with him. He always gives an excellent massage.

Jaime is an excellent and skilled therapist. She is attuned to your body and has various techniques and skills to assist with alleviating pain and fostering relaxation. One of my all time favorite therapists.

Vicki is an exceptional aesthetician. She customized her treatments, provides recommendations and has the most gentle touch. My skin always feels so clean, refreshed and glowy after her service. Highly recommend seeing her.

The expertise of the LMT providers at this location seem to be a step above other massage envy options in the OC area.this location has become my go-to.if you ever have a chance to book a massage appointment with billy, grab it! He typically books out months in advance.he is so good that i actually plan my personal life calendar around his availability)

Mariam was an exceptional therapist. I get massages all the time, and this was literally probably the most enjoyable. She has a vast range of techniques and firmness levels, but if you're looking for injury recovery, on the verge of deep tissue but not overly much so, but very soothing, healing, and ultimate relaxation, book Mariam. This is a bold statement, but this might have been the best massage I've ever had.

I recently was introduced to Denise by a friend & enjoyed my first facial with her so much that I am making facials a regular part of my self care! Denise is a super sweet lady & her passion for skin care shines through!

Billy is absolutely fantastic. He’s a good listener and he focuses where you need the massage. I am always very happy whenever I get a massage from Billy.

Horrible. Angie is a lovely human being but not a good masseuse: (. I walked in stressed with a sore neck and knots in my shoulder and walked out with all the above and mosquito bites. I killed two mosquitoes just in the front area alone. Thankfully I had a gift certificate, so I didn’t pay much for it. Worst massage I’ve ever had (& I’ve had a lot)!
