The staff are so friendly! I felt welcome immediately. Great selection of games and beautiful displays. Whether you’re into Magic, DnD, gundams, or board games, you’ll definitely find something here.

New owners are very cool and kind. Goes out of there way to build community for local gamers. Has a great stock of items and play space. Glad to call this LGS a friend and partner with them to build a north state community.

Confused on why Matrix decided to create a scheduling conflict that forces players to choose which store they want to play at when they were able to play at both previously. Used to have a grip of people here to play with me and now they all stay in Redding on Wednesdays. If you wanted to kill pokemon in red bluff, good job.

Update: The issue I listed above has been resolved, two days of pokemon a week, twice the fun, twice the friends! Ty, Matrix C&G for hearing and understanding the communities wishes.

PS: 5* once your online w/ TCGPlayer so players can see your inventory without having to drive all the way to Redding. It sucks when I come all the way out to search for a card and it’s not there, and worse still when I call to ask to see if you have it and I get a response like, “ Sorry, our singles guy isn’t in today. ”

Im happy to say that Matrix Cards and Games is my local shop. I've met friends and the owners are super nice. I play at all their Pokémon organized events, so should you. See you then.

Really recommend checking this out. There's a few games that dominant parts of the store with all their expansions, but I've never seen a game store with such friendly staff and such great prices. 10/10 always stop here when I'm in town.

I intentionally buy as many games here as possible instead of Amazon or big chain stores because the owners are a wealth of knowledge and the customer service is exceptional. Go here. Support this business. Enjoy some awesome games you may have never found without their recommendation.

The friendly, knowledgeable staff often go way beyond the call of duty to help. They stock up with just about everything you want in card, board and role playing games. This is the go-to place for Shasta and surrounding counties.

An amazing store with an equally amazing staff. My family and I paid a visit and were treated very well, especially my wife, who was there to purchase new dice for her birthday. Drew and his staff were awesome and my wife's expierience was fantastic. The available games and extras are top notch and any folks coming in will be spoiled for choice. Definitly my go to spot.
