I contracted as a Data Specialist on TennCare at their Folsom, CA office. They hired me and dozens of others to take care of the backlog of 80,000 cases. They overhired too many people, offered tons of overtime and the work ran out very quickly. After 5 months, they dismissed about 50 of us at once due to lack to work, without trying to retain anyone. A new project was starting, so they hired dozens more people for that project rather than cross training existing contractors in order to keep them on. Makes no sense! We were constantly threatened with layoffs and firings - talk about stress.

The company culture is disorganized, chaotic, highly controlling, lacking in respect and they have terrible communication. They're overly concerned with dress codes to the point of harassment. We were constantly shuffled around to different supervisors, who couldn't be bothered to actually meet with us to discuss our skills and how we could grow into different roles. I even heard one supervisor use the N word within earshot of many African-American temps! Very classy, Maximus. Their production standards were totally unreasonable, and nobody could consistently meet them. The money was a joke, with contractors living in poverty on low wages. I would never work for this company again. Avoid!

Maximus profiles job seekers. I have solid concrete physical evidence so do *not* try to tell me I am wrong! The online application never works, then when I went down there to fil one out in person they refused to let me! Automatic discrimination!

I'd give this place Zero if they do exist. This company is a bunch of incompetent running the show. Inconsistency of processes that aren't being review by proper training guidelines. I am not sure why the State Agency hasn't been audit this place? They obviously doesn't understand the impact of the business and how it's affecting their culture. They would randomly firing people just because. The documents are never updated because they are not up to date. These supervisors are a bunch of pets no skills whatsoever. Businesses like these should be bought out by another company so they can filtered out all the negativity that's currently in place. They gave people a zero opportunity to growth. Managers are playing nepotism big time. HR is very corrupted that wouldn't do anything. Overall, please do not planning on working hereehere short term or long term. I am awaiting for this company will be fined soon.
