Mayo Family Winery, Glen Ellen CA

Great little winery. We did it as part of an organised tour and had a lovely time. We tasted 5 different wines in the tasting and were invited to sit outside in their back garden while sipping them. Very pleasant environment. Their little dog Greta - was such a hit! I had looked them up before and am glad to say all their wine is vegan too

We arrived today at Mayo Winery as our Harvest Host destination. It is a lovely winery with exceptional, friendly staff in beautiful Glen Ellen, Sonoma Valley. We started with a bottle of their reserve Chardonnay and finished every drop in the bottle! Then we relaxed in our Airstream before heading out for dinner at Glen Ellen Star. Perfect day.

Our tour visited three wineries and Mayo was our favorite. The tour is only of their tasting room but was informative and enjoyable. The wines are excellent and their wine club a great idea!

What a great little winery! The wines were great Rosemary made our day with her humor and authenticity. Can’t wait to come back.

Staffed by friendly folks and great that it’s open later than most vineyards, but if you’re looking for quality wine go elsewhere.

We loved visiting the Mayo family winery! Super family friendly - the kids were happy playing in the gravel pit and the staff were so lovely and accommodating. Not to mention some great wines!

Easily the best winery we went to. The sparkling wine and Cab are a must try.

I have so say.the wine is great. I'm so glad my best best friend in the whole world, Jacob Meredith, reintroduced me to the Cuvee recently. A flood of wonderful memories of being at Mayo a few years ago came rushing back as I sipped one of the better wines I've ever tasted. Thank you, Mayo! You all ROCK! Can't wait to get back out there soon and drink some more Cuvvee!

I was a member for many years and only unsubscribed because I have more wine than I expect to ever drink. They are truly the best value proposition of any winery or club I’ve belonged to. Just came across bottles of 2012 Ricci Reserve Zin. It is delicious, smooth, complex and harmonious. Very much unexpected for this varietal. It knocked our socks off. It was claimed to be age worthy on the label and so it is.
