Leased a new Mazda CX-5, with intent to trade in once the electric versions come out. Christen and Rachel and excellent at their jobs! Great place to buy a Mazda from!

I use to always take my car to a different Mazda location to do oil changes and any type of maintenance my car needed. However, previous locations always gave me a hard time getting what I needed and they never explained why I need a specific thing to get done all they cared about was the cash and that’s it. Then I decided to visit a different location which happened to be this one, and I can’t put into words how awesome the service is here. I always get greeted right when entering the door, they always offer coupons and decent prices, free car washes, and excellent satisfaction. There’s also a service advisor here named TJ he’s the best, always explains everything clearly and very nicely. And can’t forget about the awesome service manager here, named Andrew he just goes above and beyond with providing outstanding customer service, he’s always helpful and willing to help. Love this place

I went in there with an idea of what I wanted and Al helped me. He was very thorough in explaining the differences in the models and was overall very helpful. The Vacaville dealership didn’t have the color I wanted, but they were able to get one transferred the very next day so I purchased. I absolutely love my car, and Al made the process so easy. 10/10 recommend to everyone!

BEWARE.
I bought a brand new 2023 CX-30. I drove off the lot and my car told me engine malfunction. Drove back to tell them and after looking on the outside of my car, there was a wire hanging from the bottom of my car. The manager Alex, told me before I drove off that my car was fully inspected… but, turns out they never actually inspected my car (One of the nice car service workers told me after looking at the inspection paper that they actually did NOT inspect my car upon arrival). I appreciated his honesty with me. But after reading some reviews…. Looks like this is a common issue with them not doing their job and inspecting vehicles like they should be. So beware of that issue. One of the service guys told me that they have been having issues with the guys in the back not doing their job, being lazy, and not paying attention to detail. With that information, I will most likely bring my car to a different Mazda for any future services.
It’s been over a month now waiting for this part to come in and my car has been sitting in their parking lot this entire time because I refuse to take my car out until this issue is fixed. The higher management team needs to really evaluate this dealership’s service area because this is pretty unprofessional.

Pro: ALIM was GREAT. He was very nice and helpful during my entire experience with them.thank you Alim!

I want to take the time to appreciate Rachel and Melanie for their customer service and respond quickly of a vehicle I was looking for. This dealership are straight forward and help matching my budget for my new car.

TLDR: This place is a joke.

The department that handles the vehicle repairs is absolutely atrocious. Spent well over a grand for what I believe was the "80,000 mile" service for a 2014 Mazda 3 and the only thing that seemed to get changed was the engine oil and air filters.

The manual transmission fluid and honestly, all of fluid in general were one of the first things that should have been addressed. Clutch adjustment was also outlined in the service order but its something that obviously wasn't taken care of.

Less than a year after this "maintenance" and the vehicle doesn't shift smooth and literally shudders when taking off. This is complete negligence and the staff just comes off as incompetent.

Also, the actual reason for this tirade.what is the point in scheduling an appointment to get an oil change for 1: 45pm when it is 3: 56pm at the time of writing this review and the vehicle has JUST NOW been racked and "worked on"? Parts? It was just an oil filter, air intake filter, and a cabin air filter. If you can't get it together, then say so. I had things to do and I could have DEFINITELY gone without being disrespected and lied to.

Clowns.

I was worried about coming here after seeing some of the reviews. However, my experience buying a slightly used car was straightforward and easy. Alim, Melanie, and Alex were very nice and helpful. They didn't try to sell me extra things and the pricing was transparent.

A few weeks after I bought the car from here, it was unfortunately stolen. It was a tricky situation with my insurance and the police, since I wasn't yet showing up as the owner according to the DMV. I called the dealership and Alex went above and beyond to make sure I had the documents to prove that I was the owner. It was a stressful situation and he took a lot of time to explain to me what information the dealership would be able to provide, which I really appreciated.

I bought a new car and spotted a minor damage immediately after paying; we agreed to have it fixed under guarantee. It took them ages to submit the approval for the fix and I got back the car with a dent (repair quote of $900+). They fixed it for me, but it took time and patience. I didn’t like the buying process at all, despite Mel being helpful. The people on the service side are much nicer, but the quality of what they have done was disappointing.

Alim Khan has phenomenal customer service. I came here at the end of January with no plans of purchasing a vehicle. I had a 2015 Mazda 3 grand touring and he was able to find me all the amenities I wanted with what I was looking for. I originally wanted a Mazda, CX 30 but he was able to acquire me a Mazda, 2020 CX 5 grand touring premium package instead and I am absolutely in love. I’m telling you, please come and see Al he is one amazing being, a friend, and a terrific salesman! Thank you Alim

One day my seatbelt became stuck and couldn’t be released. I called Mazda of Vacaville and, after explaining the situation, was told they couldn’t give me any estimates or make any part orders without me bringing the vehicle in for a diagnostic check of the issue. Understandably, I took this to mean a quick inspection of the issue before determining what work would be required, instead I was left waiting an hour for a full inspection of my vehicle that only ended up telling me my seatbelt was in fact broken and would need replacing. For this, I was billed $185 (would’ve been $205 if not for a military discount) to learn what I already knew and have no progress made on my issue. Never use this place for car service, you’ll soon end up paying the price of your car a second time.

Al, Kacy, and Jason were a fantastic triad. Made the whole process very easy and they were very transparent which is a rare characteristic of dealerships. Would highly recommend!

Was looking for a new car to buy since used cars are currently overpriced. Ended up getting in contact with Alim who helped me with the process. He kept me updated and called me as soon as the car I wanted arrived. Was very transparent with the process and made sure I was getting my money's worth! Would recommend this dealership and seeking out Alim's help.

The car I bought (2022 Mazda3 Carbon Edition) still runs well after 2 weeks. As long as nothing goes wrong, I won't need to update this review.

I was given old style proffessional service from Mr. Sanchez my technician, and aboe average service from Noah my Service Advisor. I had preconceptions about using a dealership for my vehicle, yet I am glad I did. Their team is excellent and that is obviously due to excellent Mgmt from people like Andrew, their sales Mgr. 5 stars!

I had a wonderful experience talking with Alim, a salesperson at this location. They were very sweet and went through lengths to make sure that I got the car that I wanted - it was a Kia Niro that had just arrived the day before, a car that has been difficult to get for this price point.

If it were not for Alim and his kindness and character I probably would have not had the chance to get this car!

Horrible service. Mazda Vacaville has lost my business and trust in fixing my car. Brought in my 2019 Mazda CX-9 for a recall and to change the oil on the 27th of Sept. Came back about 5 hours later to pick up my car, and my passenger side power folding mirror was not working anymore. My driver side mirror opens up and closes fine, but upon picking it up, the passengers side mirror would not pop open anymore. Went back inside and had an advisor come out to the car with me to check, and he acknowledged that the passengers mirror is indeed, not working properly, thus broken. We both can hear the motor running as if it wants to open, but it didn't. They said to leave the car there until the next day and they will take a look. Came back the next day to check on what the issue was, and was told they did not even look at the mirror and my car was left in the same spot, not observed. Now the service advisor, although he did try to help, kept saying to us, well from their observations from past issues with cars they have dealt with, it could be caused due to fog and or rain. It rained more than a week ago, and we never took our car out in the rain, or even used the windshield wipers. Told him, how can you explain to us, that our working mirror when we brought in, to come pick it up, and its broken, on Mazdas watch, and to say it was the car's own issue that it happens once we hit a certain mileage. Now, we will be charged for a new mirror, plus an additional $500 on top for labor work. Clearly, something is not right. Asked to speak to the Manager, Andrew, and he said he will look at the cameras to see if something happened to our mirror during the time our car was serviced there. He claims its hard to prove that our mirror was working when we came in, told him if he brought in his own car to get it serviced, and comes back to pick it up, and the mirror is broken, how would he feel. He says its hard to prove therefore he needs to review their security cameras. When you first drive a car, the first thing you look at are your mirrors so you can see parking, reversing. We drove the car to Target that morning, there is proof my mirrors worked. Came back the next day, and the managers response was, well he saw nothing in the cameras regarding anyone damaging our mirror, and stated that their cameras do not show that our side mirrors were ever folding in and out in the first place. Then wouldn't that mean that he also can not detect and see in their camera videos, that there is a possibility that his employees may have also damaged our mirror during service. We have our dash camera on the front windshield, and upon driving to the front of the service parking, we see our car mirrors reflection in front of Mazda Vacavilles window showing it opened and closed just fine. Mazda Vacaville did not take responsibility for breaking and causing damage to our mirror. Will never return and will also spread awareness that your car may get damaged when serviced, and you will be the one to pay when its clearly Mazda Vacavilles fault.

Salespersons did not wear company shirt, name tag, or anything visible to enable customers to distinguish them from other customers. Also nobody introduced themselves by name, including the manager. Price was decent, but not negotiable. Made an offer that was deemed too low and was not accepted, which happens and should have been ok. But manager became argumentative and insulting, accused me of not having "any rhyme or reason" for my offer immediatly after I patiently explained to him in detail my rationale-for his benefit. Also said "I think you're being honest" to me, as if there was some question about whether I was honest or not. It would be easy to be offended by these comments, especially in front of my wife. I'm not sure how explaining the dealership's profit or loss makes a customer more likely to agree to buy, but I was forced to sit though this argument also. Car did look good, and we were not that far on price, but did not buy. Salesperson did not say "goodbye" or "sorry it didn't work out" when we left.
