Easy to walk. Information on history was insightful. Picturesque. Campgrounds for those families that enjoy camping. $5 to park. Very manageable and family friendly.

This is a state park so it will cost you $10 per car. Dogs are not allowed on the path to the waterfall- this includes service and leashed dogs as the dog's scent scares away the native badger, so please obey this rule for the badger's sake. Its a super easy hike. Be forewarned, the beauty of this place attracts a crowd. You are not supposed to swim in the water, but if you are fast enough and willing to risk a few glares and a possible $65 ticket, then go for it. Just don't let the young kid or inconsiderate adult in your life in the water if you suspect they will pee in it. This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in California and it deserves respect. There is a campground inside the park as well that offers campsites and rv hookups at very reasonable prices. Dogs on leashes are welcome at the campsite. There are many trails to explore, too. Thankfully, Wifi and phone service doesn't work here.

An absolute delight in autumn. Highly recommend you come in the first week of November. It'll be a bit chilly, but you'll be able to enjoy the smell of pine, moss, and the spring water in the air.

Bring $10 cash for the entrance fee too.

As of now, the northern trails from the path coming from the falls are closed off due to maintenance or a fallen tree, but the park is honestly huge. You could spend as little as 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on how much you want to explore.

Take your time and enjoy the natural beauty of America.

Amazing waterfall from underground spring water! Small but steep hike gets you closer to waterfall. Looks of camping spots and a pretty lake to spend a relaxing holiday!

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen for me it's a unique waterfall, the water come from everywhere in this big wall not only from thr top, theres a very nice and easy hiking to do that go from the parking lot to the top of the waterfall crossing over it and returning to the parking lot.

It is a state park so, Expect to pay. Anyways, This place is beautiful! I highly recommend checking this out. Great vibes. There is a trail that goes behind and above the waterfall area that was nice too. If you are thinking about checking this place out, Do it.

The falls were beautiful and the hike was great! The falls loop trail was easy for me so it should good for the whole family if you go slow enough since there is a few inclines. It's $10 to park your car there, they close at sunset and the general store is only open fri-sunday so bring water just in case as we only found one fountain working. Also no Verizon and AT&T reception so there is a payphone next to the general store if you need to make emergency calls.

Clean, organized, staff helpful, and many amenities. I fish this area often and when not staying in a hotel I like this park for camping. Clean bathrooms and showers (tokens are required with $1 buying about 8 minutes), generous space between campers, under lots of pine trees, and a store (limited hours during the off season) with the usual stuff you may have forgotten or need. Burney is only 10 miles away for anything the store doesn't have. You can fish Lake Britton, Burney Creek, or head over to Hat Creek, and the Pit River. My only complaint are the campers (usually trailers/RVs) who use generators. Their use is limited but when all is quiet around 8 am they are like hearing the neighbor mowing or blowing their lawn.

Amazing place. Great place to spend 3 to 3 hours. Couple of summer months hasn't reduced flow of water yet. Being state park only one open around that area at this time.

Love coming here for the beautiful scenery and ICE CREAM! Best soft serve ever! The staff is so nice! We had our puppy and they loved her so much! We always bring food to have a picnic and let kids run around. There are picnic areas with nice bbq areas.

Exceptionally beautiful location for the outdoors person great to go camping or stay in one of the little cabins or if you're older like myself you want to stay in a motel in town it's a little bit of a drive to get back out for the hiking and the waterfalls but it's well worth it no matter which way you choose you just got to choose there is electricity in the cabins on site but there's no bathrooms in each little cabin the bathrooms are completely separate

Wonderful State Park with a giant waterfall and a big lake for jet skiing and other water activities. Great home base for tons of exploration in the area around Mount Lassen

Very nice camp ground and the camp sites are fairly good sized. Falls are worth the trip and the walk to the base is not very strenuous. Good camp store with a decent selection of basics. Very nice treat to get a frosty, (soft ice cream) at the store.

Absolutely lovely place. Must visit.
Entry fee is $10. There is no hiking required. They have a constructed path to reach the falls and it is not too long. You can see the falls as soon as you step out of parking lot as there is a look out point.

Very Nice! Not very smokey at all. Trail to falls is short and steep but easy to get to. Trails that will lead to the Lake also

This is our sacred grounds, I read their paper, it talks about how our Tribe sold the property to these white settlers, that was a lie, it was taken buy murdering our people

Burney Falls completely exceeded my expectations - the photos just don’t do it justice. It’s spectacular and invigorating. We were there midweek in July and the parking lot was almost full. It must be crazy on summer weekends. The parking lot is only 150ft from the falls overlook, but to truly appreciate it, you need to descend a couple of hundred vertical feet into the gorge to view it from below. There’s also a short 1.2 mile circular walk you can do from here that crosses over the river, ascends the other side of the gorge and crosses back further upriver.

This place was breathtaking. The waterfall is close to the parking lot. About 10-15 minutes walk to get to the waterfall. There is campsite and other areas you can explore at the park.

Burney Falls is part of the California state park system. The price of nine dollars for senior citizens car, for 15 minute visit is way too expensive. Five minute walk from the car to the Overlook spend maybe 10 minutes and then turn around and leave. The temperature that day was over 100. Come on Gavin spend some of the State surplus on lowering the rates to senior citizens to State Parks. Where seniors in our late 70s and the walk down to the bottom of the falls was too difficult and not possible for us.
