The library has a helpful staff and a variety of programs and amenities. They offer a good variety of books, quiet reading spaces computers for public use, and space just for kids. The Children's Library offers a variety of programs and a great space for them to browse books. The library also has a Makerspace room where visitors can create a variety of things.

This Complex was actually built inside the old Navy base Chow Hall after Gonzales Hall was built. I would rather drive up the hill to SBVC just to do my papers and homework that's always due. Over the years most of the books that came from Tustin and El Toro was thrown out/given away along with the SILENCE.this is hands Down the noisiest library to study in. I would rather study on the FLIGHTLINE with the roaring F-18s!
Marines come to the library to argue and talk on their phones, the occasional kid with temper tandrums, Librarian and D. O. D staff that mingle back and forth all morning between offices with JOLLY Laughter up and down the isles.

Best library in San Diego! Small but they go all in to provide top quality service for military

I called beforehand to confirm if they were open and I was told yes. So I brought my kids to get books for their Summer Reading Program only to see that they are only open for active duty. Would’ve been helpful to know that BEFORE when I called. I guess they forget military families live on base and rely on their services.

The staff are very nice, and the place has a good variety and selection of books. The makerspace is really cool as it has a vr, a 3D printer, board games, and a lot more.
