McDonald's, San Marcos CA

They gave us OLD STALE food! Everything was cold soggy and hard! Do not go to this location!

This is one location that is always busy, but gets things done. Lately I have been disappointed with visits to other locations - people not friendly, getting the order wrong - but this location seems to have everything working well. Good job!

This is the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been in. Every table is dirty. Every seat is dirty.

It's a McDonald's. This one is newer and the staff was nice. No complaints. 4 stars is a good rating from me.

This McDonald's is chilling I mean to get the burgers they got the fries but it's a little bit expensive it's not really much parking regular but it's right in the San local shopping center so if you would

The reason for the two stars. Just due to service. You walk in here and try to order in person and they ignore you they know you're standing there and they just keep doing your business instead of saying hey we'll be right with you) or hey we're really busy right now we'll get you to you as soon as we can. As a customer all I need is a little acknowledgment. So when they do finally take your order they act like it's a hassle. What happened to wonderful customer service? Courtesy and kindness goes a very long way. I actually tip people who are taking my order and who are really really nice and go out of their way to exceed expectations.

This is a very friendly & kind location. They are on top of things and strive to make things right. I placed a mobile order in which they forgot my kids fries on their kids meal. I called and explained what was missing and without hesitation Evelyn apologized for the mistake and said whenever you are back in town, stop by and give us your name for a free kids meal or a combo. I was surprised by how quick and understanding she was. Surely enough, a week later I was in town and they honored the freebie. I've always preferred this location than the one on E Valley Pkwy & this experience just confirms that. Thanks guys!

Good fast friendly service was in and out rather quickly. So happy I didn’t have to get wet for dinner lol thanks McDonald’s

Service was alright. Got my order messed up but they fixed it pretty quickly. McDonalds in general has pretty sweet deals on their app. My favorite currently has to be their $1 Hot/Iced coffee any size. It's truly a wonderful thing!

Run out of supplies and staff have no clue what they serve. This is the first time and the last time I will stop by this Mcdonald. I stop by on Sunday at 10: 15 Jenni said happy meal is not offer until 10: 30 am. I order breakfast but the location runs out of mayo and ketchup and I drive to the parking wait until 10: 25 and drive in again and ask when can she take order for happy meal. She said in 5 minutes. I sit in the car with my kids and wait. Then she came back and said, sorry we don’t take happy meal order until 11: 0 am. Running out of supplies and not telling me accurate information is just a waste of my time and my money. I go spend money somewhere else.

Came to the drive through yesterday shortly before lunch time. The girls at the drive are so rude. Girl at the first window with the hickeys on her neck rolls her eyes at me as I’m pulling up. Then the girl at the next window handing me my order says not one word to me and rudely hands me my order. I ask if I can have some ketchup, she hands me the packets and she has this mad at the world face the entire time. She can’t even say “have a nice day” AT LEAST. My food wasn’t even warm. It was really awkward and I will try to avoid this drive thru but it’s a convenient location since I shop at Costco by there a lot. Hope my next visit is better. If “ I hate my job” had a face it would be these drive thru employees.
