McDonald's, Sunnyvale CA

I was short changed. I ordered a large French fry but was marked for a Large Sprite. Understandable mistake I did not want the Large Sprite so I didn't take it. However when I asked for a large French I was told there would be an extra charge, again understandable I gave an extra ten dollar bill and was given a one dollar bill for the total change. It was the older man who was attending my order at night. In summation, I wasn't given the correct change due to one Large Sprite and one Large French fry does not yield the total return to be a single dollar out of the ten I gave. I am disappointed.

My order included 2 fries. I noticed one was less than half filled, so I asked the employee to correct it. Then I noticed my other order of fries wasn’t filled also, so I asked the same girl if I could speak the manager. The manager was extremely rude. She first gave excuses that had nothing to do with the issue. She kept arguing and talking over me. She claimed that a medium fry is only supposed to be 3 ounces, then she changed her story to 4 ounces. She said that the menu says a medium fry is 4 ounces. I requested her to show me, but she refused and directed me to the website. Neither the website menu nor the on site menu say 4 ounces. Nor do they actually weigh the fry orders. So I asked for clarification again. She walked away from me to help another customer instead. So I requested a refund. I didn’t want an argument and I didn’t like her poor performance. She pulled out their Nutritional Information book to try to appease me, but it said nothing about 4 ounces either. She finally gave me a refund after I insisted numerous times. As I was walking out the restaurant, I saw the original employee and another supervisor high 5 each other and laugh at me. Absolutely horrible service.

Ordered some nuggets and fries. Got home and fries were called. I live 5 mins away max. How are they cold? Same with nuggets. I was there last week and ordered a filet o fish with extra tartar sauce. Got home and no extra

This place is not 24hours even though it says online and has been updated not too long ago. The hours are on the window. Waste of time coming here for grave lunch.

Online order, the person said they don’t received online orders, bad attitude, I ordered the full breakfast and it was incomplete

I guess America English isn’t the first language at a restaurant that was literally made off of America, Let’s the people that speak broken English run the drive-thru.

Food and service are very good. The restaurant is always clean. Very welcoming atmosphere. Management should be proud of customer service. It doesn’t matter if you are a resident, traveler, or along the way. It's great.

Typically no customer interaction. Forgot to provide stirrer after requesting couple of times for my coffee as it was not openly available! And yes.no mirror in bathroom!

They are a cheap store. The ice cream is the powered kind. Cold old frys The owners can make a choice to order the better quality mix but they did not.

That breakfast platter was bomb, or I was starving. Nevertheless 10, I only removed the meat pattie and set

Cleanest McDonald's I've ever seen.

Would be nice if they added some outdoor seating.

They never have a working ice cream machine. It has been weeks of them having “sold out” stickers over their ice cream menus.

It's not the greatest service ever. The service was really slow, and my ice cream wasn't even properly filled, and it had barely some hot fudge

Update 6/30/2023:
I see a lot of people get their orders wrong.
I’ve never had that issue and I come here Tues, Wed, Thurs around 12 noon for lunch time only. I used the mobile ordering app. I get 10-20 nuggets and a medium Sprite every time almost. Always got my 3 sweet and sour sauce.

Update: Came here in evening 20pc nuggets under done and not as good. I’ll stick to coming here for lunch only.

Had the crispy chicken meal yesterday and nugget meal today. Both freshly done. This is probably the best McDonald’s for freshness that I’ve been to so far and Eastridge mall.

So Rafael comes back with a total rebuttal for the win my order almost in sabotage. I asked for a double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon and got a Mac double the bacon slap. The fries are great and the frappe is fine.

I am done with this location, over the last 2 months, consistently getting wrong on my orders, getting half filled fries, missing orders, even when eating inside, wait over 20 minutes for breakfast items, and always, when I bring it up to the manager in charge getting rude responses. I'm done dealing with this place as I was even charged over 60$ for someone else's oder on drive thru and when I brought it up I was denied a refund

Cheap, simple, and a fish burger has fewer calories than whole foods organic salads (with dressing). Just skip the coke and fries.
