McMurtrey Aquatic Center reviews
15Water is most always cold to very cold. I'm not looking for spa temperatures, just 81.
It was fun at the beginning there’s good there and only two water slides do it’s not much but it is very ghetto and this lady kept on trying to fight was kids for no reason so if you go I wouldn’t expect you to meet very nice people there I’d personally rather spend money on something else
The center is amazing, facilities are clean and well maintained, and the staff is so professional and well-trained. Waterslides are a lot of fun. The only negative would be the occasional trashy person acting trashy while using the facility.
It was my first time, and about the place it was great, but about service on the food section disappointed when I ask for a large pepperoni pizza the server told me 'we have no more pizza ' so when I was walking away this lady ask por a pizza? And Guess what? She did get it? So I just walked away
First time visit with my grandkids, and we had a blast, definitely will be coming back, clean, friendly and prices WOW! Very very reasonable thank you to all the staff very friendly and helpful, love love all the lifeguards around they were on top of it all thank you
Many families with children attending there. Simply food to sell like ice cream, pizza, and hot dog. Not allowed to bring food outside. Only water and fruit juice can be brought to be inside. Clean and salt chemical pool to swim. 3 pool. Few adults with non kids.
This place was super rude. We went into the water and a worker told my friend that she was wearing cotton and she needed to get out we had to remove the undergarments and she saw that the swim suit didn’t have cotton and said, “oh well next time know what you’re wearing”. And when we asked abt other times we could come the worker said, “ well we have different hours but that’s when the pro swimmers come in and they yell at you when you’re messing around “. It’s a public pool
Varied pool depths, very kid andfamily friendly. There is a cafe, where you can get snacks and drinks. Places to sit (not enuf) so you can bring a foldable chair if you want.affordable. Had a great time.
Life guards rude to adults and inappropriate with children. "F" bombs yelled at kids who were running on the pool deck on Saturday. There training needs to include basic manners, respect for their elders, customer service, and age appropriate language. Shame on Mc Murtery supervisors for allowing this behavior to continue!
Nice facility, clean facility. Horrible hours. They change their hours on a whim almost monthly. Sometimes two or three times in a month. Do not buy a pass.
Horrible hours. The Bakersfield flier and website said that they would be open on June 25 for the afternoon for an event called carnival when we get there there is Poster on the door that said it was for the 24th instead. If they are going to advertise an event at least be consistent on the website to match the actual event.
A bit crowded, but its summer and its hot, so who wouldn't want to be in the water overall experience was great, my Grandkids had a blast. Will definitely being going again this summer.
Overcrowded and poor hours. We didn't even get in after waiting quite a while and the pool hitting capacity.
The staff are all friendly, great community of pool goers whether it’s lap swimming, water walking, they are welcoming and share lanes without problems. It’s CLEAN, kept up and definitely worth getting a pass.
What a beautiful place to swim! The facility is clean and well staffed, the pool is huge, and the lap swim hours are generous.
