11 Was nice to be on base for the graduation events and ceremonies.
Accommodations are basic and clean.
Don't expect many extras. These are old squad barracks converted for public use.
Gives you a taste of what your Marine might be be housing in over the next few months as they progress in training.
Side note: You likely won't spend that much time in your room anyway. Just a place to sleep. Family day and Graduation day are packed full, with lots to see and do around the base. Enjoy the time with your new Marine!
I really love staying here. This is my second time staying here and I'll be coming back again soon.
The prices are reasonable, the rooms are roomy and bright. The staff is the best in the business! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend! A+
Basic military base accommodations. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Convenience of staying on base is a huge plus. Marine Corp graduation day is an honor.
I only gave 4 because the mattress and box springs were probably from the 1980's lol and not very comfortable. The rest of our stay HANDS DOWN 5
Great place to stay if you are visiting a family member at the recruit depot but besides that is better options in town. You have to share the bathroom.
Rooms weren't fancy but they were perfect for what we were there for. I felt closer to my graduating son and we were able to be early to the meet and greet, family day and graduation ️ without having to deal with traffic.
Not bad for a temporary stay for $91 a night. It wouldn't be the Marine Corps if it was luxurious.
Before pandemic the rooms were around $45.00 great price for the old room.after they reopened it's $91.00 price doubled.same room double the cost.maybe for the area it's decent price but how does mcss double the price of the same room?
Location and price can't get beat if you're eligible to stay here. Rooms are spacious but certainly not luxurious.
My friend was in a wheelchair. The room they gave us was not accommodating. No bars in shower. Furniture was crowding the pathway. Our room was on the second floor. No handicap parking nearby. No sidewalk ramps. NOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY!
