Meadowlark Country House and Resort, Calistoga CA

My husband and I loved our stay here! The property is beautiful, the hosts are so friendly, and the room was a sanctuary! Highly recommend the Mountain View room! The perfect place to come back to unwind after a day in wine country! Make sure to plan time in your morning to enjoy a leisurely (and delicious) breakfast!

I went there for day use and had a very relaxing afternoon by the pool. The grounds are beautiful and the hosts are very friendly.

This "best kept secret" offers the most relaxing, de-stressing atmosphere and amenities one could ever imagine. Situated in the wine country, this property is absolutely stunning! The hosts, Kurt and Richard are two of the kindest and most charming hosts you will ever meet. Finally, the accommodations are top notch!

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights in November to celebrate a relationship milestone. We were craving an opportunity to get away and soak naked in a hot tub among beautiful gardens, trees, and horses. Our stay certainly exceeded expectations in many ways. Kurt and Richard are superb hosts that create a uniquely warm, welcoming and peaceful space. They’re also 2 of the loveliest and most charming people we have ever met. Staying at the Meadowlark made us feel surrounded by their love, which is indeed a very lovely place. We can’t wait to return!

It was a rainy cold day.but the hot tub was hot, the sauna was warm and the pool made a great cold plunge. The natives were friendly.

Meadowlark is a lovely sanctuary. The grounds are landscaped with beautiful perennials, the mineral pools are pristine, the horses are friendly and the hosts and staff are generous and a joy to engage with. We stayed 2 nights and felt remarkably rested and rejuvenated. Maria's breakfast was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Kurt and Richard (plus their dog Sparky). Meadowlark is a very special place. We will be back.

Kurt and Richard are the nicest hosts we have encountered in our travels. Yes the breakfast (with eggs from their own chickens), 24 hour 85 degree pool access, and relaxed vibe are just as good as everyone is saying. We will be back. The rooms were spacious and there were many places to sit and read or chill and contemplate the view.

Beautiful property, wonderfully appointed, clean, and very welcoming bed and breakfast! The location is incredible and the property is stunning, and the two owners made our stay above and beyond what we expecting; and breakfast was delicious! Will definitely stay again in the future!

First time staying here or really at any bed and breakfast/inn and hand down, my wife and I, hands down had an amazing experience that has made this place our staycation get-away destination in the future. The presentation was absolutely perfect, the stay was perfect, our room was perfect (minus the bathtub that wasn't able to fill past the 1/4 mark - as a plumber, my guess is the seal on the drain stopper in #5), and the breakfast was out of this world good! Yum!
