Meat Love Korean BBQ reviews
1715% tips added to your bill. Meat is a lot of fats. Even though it was $27.99 per person, bill comes out to be way more bc of the automatic gratuity. They even asked for more tips. I will not come here again
I don't like to write reviews but today I had a bad experience our server was told before I even ordered my 3 year old will only eat the macaroni they put as a side on tables the lady said if she eats she will pay 8.99 when the bill came her charge was 26.99 did I forget to mention its 31.99 for adults. When Bill came for 2 adults an a 3 year old it was 124.32 can some one do math? They automatically add gratuity but still doesn't add up. Look at your bill before paying
Food was okay.i thought they had indoor and out door seating but it’s just outdoor.flies would fly and if you weren’t careful they’d sit on your meat.the kimchi lunch box could use an upgrade it looked a little sad.restroom was dark af.needs a soap dispenser and better lighting.
The best dining experience I’ve had so far during my short stint in koreatown. Good luck eating all the food though! Bit pricey but that can be expected in the city.
It’s a little hole in the wall but the service and the food was $26 all you can eat. Kimchi rice was tasty and fun.
I've had better brisket for a much cheaper price, the stove was difficult to cook in (again, there's much more better options around the area). Service felt off bc the servers seemed agitated idk why. Overall, go to a better kbbq place.this ain't it chief.
Website says they close at 1130. We arrived at 9. They started picking up every thing at 945. They brought our bill and said can we pay because they're about to close. We were in the midst of cooking our meat. By the time the meat was cooked we were the only table left. All the workers were standing waiting for us to finish. It was very uncomfortable. We asked if we could just get a box to go because it felt uncomfortable to be eating with them staring waiting for us to finish. They said that unfortunately they couldn't because it was illegal for us to take it since it's an all you can eat place. Not sure how true that is. But anyways never coming back. 2 dults 2 children $167 and with not enough time. Employees were even sweeping around us already. Waiter seemed annoyed when we were trying to figure out what to order and he forgot a couple items and we had to remind him. They also add on a high tip that there's no way around it. If the service was good I would have not mind but it was horrible. Restrooms were super dirty. Definitely not coming back nor recommending this place to anyone.
It’s a very nice, comfy place the atmosphere is good always clean, and service is fast & food is amazing
Good experience, outdoor seating. Food was pretty good but not the best I've ever had. Very efficient staff
Interesting meat dinner cooked on a gas stove by the customers. Rice and small appetizers for side dishes. Good beer.
Great selection of Very high quality meats for grilling.
They bring new grills with each meat order to keep it clean and fresh.
Highly recommended.
It was a really delicious meal! It's not easy to eat Korean food with this kind of taste in a foreign country, but I fell in love with the taste of my mother's hand~ Highly recommended!
As a Korean, this place didn't satisfy my LA trip mandatory kbbq night requirement. We chose it because of its lower prices but missed out on a bunch of korean side dishes and atmosphere in return. It's just meat on a burner. I need some lettuce, perilla leaves, or green onion salad to chase my meat, but nothing like that here: (
I went with my brother at 9.30 pm, they gave us a table at 9.55 pm. The schedule said they closed at 11 pm, They came to tell us exactly at 10.10 that they were already closing that their hours have changed and that they close at 10.30 and that we had to pay now, we could only place an order of meat, nothing more, no rice, no soup, and the little time we we were there, they were in front of us waiting for us to leave. It does not seem fair to me, because I could not enjoy my meal, if the schedule has changed they would have let me know since I arrived at 9.30, what matters to them is the money and not their customers. I will never go back and I will tell all my friends and family never to visit this place.
I will never return to this place. Had the worst experience of my life. Restaurants like these come from being closed. They are only interested in stealing money from customers, including a high tip on your bill and the waiters give you the worst service, you have to be aware of telling them that you need something else and they never bring it, my kitchen ran out of gas and they never came to replace it. Do not go to these types of restaurants because you will be scammed.
They force you to give a tip, that is illegal, soon I will look for the corresponding institution that is in charge of investigating this type of business that forces its clients to give tips. The service the worst. They never serve you your food. Do not go to this restaurant and if you do you will have the worst time of your life.
GROSS! This was the worst kbbq experience I’ve EVER HAD! KBBQ more like KBB-EW! It took 30 minutes for them to bring rice, and when they did they only brought it for one person some of the most CHEWY CUTS you’d be better off eating gum. Not to mention the servers purposely ignored our orders not bringing them until the second time we asked. The table was literally falling apart as we ate and to top it off, the pile of fat cost practically $50 per person (ps they refused to give us water)
also… RACIST! We sat at two separate tables. Our table with a friend who spoke Korean was served almost instantly, but our table who had no Koreans waited 30 min for rice, 30 min for dumplings (that they gave to our Korean friend instead), and forever for water til we had our Korean friend ask them and they brought it in less than a minute? Weirdddddddd this is Los Angeles
