I wish I would have met Chris 20 years ago! My list of injuries is long and includes a broken back and achillies tendon ruptures. Chris is knowledgeable, affable and consumate professional who is a master at his craft. He is a Samurai when it comes to bodywork and physical therapy.

Here is what you came to read, what happened and what is getting better.

1. Chronic back pain is nearly gone
2. I can breathe much more easily.
3. My posture has changed for the better, literally night and day.
4. My right should no longer noticeably rolls forward.
5. My sleep has improved.
6. I am taller (legitimate comment).
7. My movements are smoother and you are taught how to change patterns of movement that you are stuck in.
8. My confidence has improved.

Chris has been a miracle worker for me. I wish I would have done it sooner.

I don't want to be the richest man in the graveyard so I invested in my health with Chris. The journey thus far has been amazing. Chris thanks and see you soon.

I came to Chris to focus on prior injuries in my life. Unlike other physical therapy and healing programs, Chris has provided me with a better understanding in creating change. These changes have taught me that quick fixes aren’t the ideal answer, rather relearning movements in my daily actions and mindset will ultimately be my best approach for the long haul. With Chris’ assistance I have improved my awareness in understanding what my body is telling me and formed new habits and adjustments in my everyday actions.

Chris delivers beyond sport message; I would recommend his services for any pain or discomfort in your body. His work and training as always have been a breakthrough in my everyday life.

Thanks Chris!

Happy new year. It’s 2023 (for the sake of context, I met Chris in 2012.)

He took me through the standard 10 session Rolfing regimen, which I found to be remarkably therapeutic. I had expected some pain in his bodywork, but there was none. He merely eliminated the tension and tightness in my fascia between my muscles—all over my body.
Every session made me feel ALIVE and activized!

I had a work-related accident after seeing Chris and went to other specialists for an ACL repair and did not continue with Chris for rehab. Consequently, nine or 10 years later, I began to have trouble with the same side of my body that I had injured.
I had incredible tightness in my hamstrings, my quads, my right knee, and I was having trouble with my right foot. A hammer toe had developed in a short period of time.
So I considered returning to Chris again, having not seen him in nearly 10 years. It was extremely worthwhile to reconnect and experience his advanced method, where he really got me to realize that it was about re-patterning the posture, the gait, and the mindfulness of body awareness as I moved through my day. Instead of utilizing exclusively Rolfing massage work, Chris has grown to be very analytical and insightful at discovering the imbalances in our bodies. So he clarified for me that I needed to put my attention on my right side, and virtually reprogram my weight bearing to favor my left side; my walking stride and my posture, to alleviate the tightness that was in my right side. Well, after a series of exercises and practice routines, it really was effective The pain diminished, and my body felt more at ease; and flexible.

Besides his technical skills and keen intuition, Chris is a wonderfully friendly, generous, and honest human being. You will be surprised by his excellent technique.

Chris turned out to be a miracle for me who helped with my 10 to 12 years old chronic issues - back pain, knee pain and achilles tendonitis. Traditional medical science failed me and pushed me towards hopelessness, Chris treated me, taught me how to properly operate my body, saw body as a whole rather than focusing on only one area, and that was the key for my situation. I know I have to continuously work on the teachings, but now I am equipped for the first time with proper tools to fight this battle. Thank you so much, Chris, for giving my life back. I wish you all the success in the future, your treatment methodology, process, insights, spirituality and integrated approach is much needed by the humanity.

I have tried Acupuncture, Chiropractors, Massage Therapy, Physical Therapy, Surgery (many) on neck, knees, spine, hernias, the list goes on. The doctors tell me I should be on disability and have a pump installed to maintain quality of life. After nerve ablation I was in more pain. It made it impossible for me to sleep for a year.

I lived in steady pain. 7-9 out of 10 all day long. I’d randomly fall several times a day from intense pain in my legs and back. I managed to work 12-15 hours a day anyway. My family needed me to provide. I could only sleep for 30-45 minutes at a time from the nerve pain. I had 3-5 day long migraines once a month that moved to cluster headaches behind my eye. At this point I was taking 16 mg extended release Exalgo and 30 mg Oxycodone 7 times a day for over a decade.

It seemed hopeless but I learned a lot about Rolf Structural Integration and thought I’d give it a try. I reached out to Chris with a pretty hopeless message. I came in to see him for an assessment session. He saw my chronic pattern and where I carried my weight, he talked about neuroscience, and he explained how I could correct things. The key word was “I. Me! ” I dived into the neuroscience about pain and I’m learning how to reprogram the brain/body connection. I am working on accepting the fact that my physical body is repaired and that there is no reason to be in pain. For instance, I walked hunched over and twisted, shuffled my feet like an 80 year old. Limped to the point my head bobbed 8 or more inches. I probably stood 5’11’’. Now I stand 6’2”. I’m not hunched over, there’s times my limp isn’t noticeable. In the past I’d inhale and have deep radiating pain throughout my body, that’s gone! Accepting that my body is repaired seems to have freed me from my migraines. I haven’t had one in 2 months. I’m learning how little of my body I was using. I walked backwards, used the outsides of my legs and hip flexors to pull me forward. I’m working on walking from my core, and pushing myself forward through gravity. I’ve gotten some flexibility back in my hips.

My coworker said to me this week, “Mike I saw you correct your limp and straighten up to walk correctly, that’s impressive! ” I’ve got a long way to go, but have decided not to be bent over and broken God willing. I sleep better 4-5 hours a night and participate in family activities. I can walk the dogs again and go on hikes with my wife.

Stay away from pain management, the medicine makes you hurt worse. I am learning how to use my whole body, relax the parts that aren’t needed, and how to breathe. How to move through gravity. Chris has really helped me recognize that it’s not hopeless. I don’t have to be in constant pain. It’s a misinterpretation of the signals my nerves are sending to my brain.

My trainer recommended Chris for a low back issue that started in 2015 and got worse over time. I saw many therapists that were helpful with taking the edge off of the acute pain but the chronic pain persisted.

Previously I was very active - swimming, biking, running, and I’ve done major hikes around the world. By the time I saw Chris even local hikes were unbearable.

I went in for an assessment and signed up for his holistic program. In the first few visits he did a lot of hands-on work and gave me homework to change my functional mechanics.

There were short-term improvements and his perspectives were different so I was skeptical if it was going to help. After about a month in I wasn’t completely out of pain or doing big hikes yet but I did notice that slowly things like traveling were getting better.

It’s been about a year and a few months that we’ve been working together and I still need work but I’m much more functional and I understand my body much better than I did in the past. And I'm able to do some pretty big hikes now.

I have seen a lot of practitioners over the last few years and its safe to say that Chris is one of the most knowledgable, skillful and sensible people I have come across.

I just went through a a six week period where 7 major life catastrophes hit and I ended up in the ER. The ER doctor's did a lot of tests and concluded it wasn't a heart attack, or a stroke, they dismissed the idea it could be a problem in my neck and ssid it was highly unlikely to be stress related and sent me home.
I had  vertigo, serious tingling sensations in my arms and legs extreme tension in my neck and back of my head, blurry vision, pain in my left arm, tight/tense/ rigid chest and shoulders.
His hands on work was very helpful but he also gave me homework. He taught me how to breath and use my body to change the tension in my chest and neck.
After 1 session my arm pain was gone after 2 sessions I had no more tingling in my arms and legs. The third session we did a lot of posture and breathing work between that and the homework my chest and shoulders were relaxed and movable again. Now after 4 sessions and really following the homework he gave me the only symptom I still have is I wake up with the neck tension some days but it's getting better and less frequent.

I was lucky to have met Chris 15 years ago after a MCL (knee) injury from playing soccer. I was taking 800mg of ibuprofen 3 times a day just to be able to work.   I was planning on knee surgery.
His innovative and holistic approach seemed crazy to me at the time. I thought he was an anti-modern medicine nut. I was COMPLETELY wrong.
I scheduled an assessment, he did a little work and I decided to go through with his program.
After that, surprisingly, I didn't need surgery.   This was the second time he was able to help me with really serious symptoms.
I absolutely recommend going to Chris if you have symptoms that aren't resolving.
