Our favorite restaurant in Alpine or anywhere else in San Diego!

We always start with the
TONNO ASIATICO appetizer. Love the Italiana salad too!

The owners, Enzo and Anna Maria are delightful and always make a point to visit every table. I tell Enzo it's my birthday.every week! He plays along and breaks out the frangelica! The family recipes are unique and the specials menu is frequently changing.

Daisy and Angel are amazing! Always make terrific recommendations!

Best food, service and atmosphere in East County!

The artichokes were amazing, the sliders delish! The one plate I forgot to take a pic of was the chicken Parm. It was a good portion size but the flavor was a little lacking, started better with a little salt. I made a reservation through their website and received a confirmation email but they didn't have me on their list. However, Our server was super sweet and the host that seated us even tried his best to accommodate us and after we were seated he told us he started the fire pits for us and if we wanted to go sit out there for dessert and a drink after dinner we could, but it was super windy and cold so.we checked it out but decided we would come back another night to explore more of the menu and the views at the fire pit another night when it wasn't so cold and rainy. Definitely will be going back!

The restaurant is beautiful. The ambiance is nearly impeccable. Frank Sinatra crooning while you eat authentic imported Italian pasta over a well prepared drink is nearly perfection.

The waitresses were kind, prompt, and efficient. The manager himself was getting his hands dirty helping around the restaurant. The kind of manager you want overseeing the place you're eating. The decor was cute, down to the genuine Vespa inside the actual restaurant, beckoning you for an Italian adventure. The people around our table seemed pleased with their meals judging from the nods and consumption. The silverware and glassware were clean, no water spots or residue to be seen. Napkins were crisp, no stains. Tables wiped, chairs level and maintained.
Genuinely one of the cleanest establishments I've ventured through.

The half point was deducted from the restrooms. Although both were clean (I may have peaked into the opposite bathroom as well), they left a little something to be desired after the charm of the restaurant. I found myself slightly disappointed at the lack of "immersion" into the Italian theme after the wimsy of the rest of the decor.

Passing the kitchen, the cooks seemed in good spirits. Smiling, joking with one another. The camadre you find only in well-run restaurants.

The food is fantastic. Generous portions, not greasy, beautifully plated. The tomatoes tasted fresh, juicy. The bruchetta is a must try.
All in all, this is a lovely restaurant. Great food, good people.

Well kept, clean environment, nice pool table. Somewhat friendly service, dress appropriately. Tough crowd.

This was our 2nd time here and it did not disappoint. Holly was the best server. We eat at different restaurants often and we can only hope to hear a server as attentive and knowledgeable as her. The food was also really good.

My opinion. Gotta be honest. Salad good. Bread meh! Lasagna meh! Chicken Lasagna meh! Red Zinfandel meh! Service good. Prices high.

We just chose this restaurant for Father’s Day dinner which we have frequently eaten at being a local here in alpine and have been highly dissatisfied with their customer service, food quality and management. I purchased several synergy e- cards to purchase our meal of 5 and because of the incompetence of the manager and waitress we were told they couldn’t be used and we asked them to try again and they only to my knowledge did it twice unsuccessfully it not only put a damper on our celebration for Father’s Day and we ended up now out 480$ as of now until this gets resolved through the owners. Synergy has been excellent in their response and investigation in this matter in resolving their employees incompetent training.

Way to expensive. I ordered a wedge salad but with romain. Had a handful of romaine lettuce. I was so upset. 16.00

Awesome food, great service. Super Bowl Sunday so the bar was packed but the restaurant wasn't

Stuffed shrimp were good but the risotto was awful, tasted like it had cleaning solution in it. Server was very dismissive saying it smelled fine to her. My wife and I both tasted it and smelled it, she offered vegetables but we were pretty much done. No offer of a discount off the bill, she never spoke to the manager or the chef. Won't be going back, at more than $30 per entre I expect more.

Every bite we've had has been delicious. They have a wonderful menu. The service is excellent. If you like Italian, you'll love Mediterraneo.

Excellent family owned Italian restraurant. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.

A little bit of Italy in Alpine! Great tasting pizza with imported cheese from Italy. You will notice the difference.

This place is sooo good go there with your appetite and when you get there and see that it's Italian and not Mediterranean; do yourself a favor and stay. Soo good. Went there mother's day and they accommodated us even though we did not have reservations.

Amazing homemade Italian food at it's finest! Authentic recipes, great service, terrific atmosphere - put this on your short list for sure! Also, kid friendly with video games, pinball, and arcade games! Dishes run $15-$25 with most right around $20. Well worth every penny!
