13Bring my siblings there sometimes since they're little and my parents need a break and its always a great place to kill at least and hour unless they want to stay it can be 2 hours.
Too many drug abusing homeless. Had to call police for teenagers fighting by the kids playground. The homeless and out of control teenagers have ruined the park. It's only a block from the police station, but has turned into a very unsafe place. The homeless put on a martial arts show, displaying their skills. They also turned the restrooms into a drug den and encampment. I was so happy to bring my kids, they were able to view the homeless ambiance and smells. It is a good place to get used syringes and sample unknown alcohol drinks. Way to go CVPD and CV city!
Very peaceful place. Hard to do any sports there, but a great place to sit under a tree and relax.
Memorial Park is a nice place to go to to get off the beaten path of the 3rd Avenue Old downtown 3rd Avenue business district you can stop and sit down on the grass and the trees and the flowers and take it easy take a brief respite have something to eat something to drink smoke a cigarette just relax and take it easy and then it's like a brief interlude Sundays for 10: 30 I believe the first Sunday the month so I can check on that it's available online they have a farmers market freezing by a lot of great stuff fresh flowers potted plants gardening materials nice things to eat the great great great place to go and things to do on Sunday
Great place to spend time with your loved ones, you can find a Farmers Market every Sunday from 10am to 2pm
Plenty of sitting space. Perfect acoustics. A delight to have been there for memorable occasions with my children's and grandchildren school celebrations.
Pretty cool off leash dog park. Sundays farmer Market and pretty cool bar scene if you enjoy craft beer.

Nice park, lots of parking as well as restaurants coffe shopsand breweries nearby in Downtown Chula Vista.
After sunset it doesn't feel safe walking to the curbside parked cars from the Parkway community center due to the gathering of people who clearly need attention/help due to their living situation and potential mental illness.
The park rangers they own the park in 1937. Before that it was it 1905 when it was Dedicated by the City of Chula Vista.
Beautiful park. Great pool! I started aquatic physical therapy and was very happy with the experience. Quiet neighborhood!
This is a super quiet and chill park. It's a great place to walk your dog and they have "doggy bag" stations set up at strategic locations. There is an open air amphitheater where they sometimes do events and there is also a cool little bridge that the kids like to skateboard over. If you are in downtown Chula Vista and want an interesting place to walk around this park is a good bet.
