Mend Urgent Care

Went in for a simple college sport’s physical. I had to get an EKG and clearly the nurse who administered it has 0 clue what she was doing. One sticker was barely even sticking to me and the nurse had to have 3 people come in to figure out why the computer was saying it wasn’t set up…it wasn’t plugged in properly. Suprise suprise, it came out abnormal (I’m only 19 and have never had any heart problems) and now I can’t play until I get cleared by a cardiologist, which I don’t have immediate access to. Getting charged before the physical was also a huge red flag to me but due to the dire need I didn’t have many other options.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Came here with a swollen finger I couldn't move at all. All of the doctors were at lunch but they insisted I waited.waited around for 2 hours for the female nurse practitioner to literally touch my finger, verbally say I had full range of motion (which I didn't) and tell me it was POSSIBLY a bite and they are treating me for the worst case scenario.

When I wasn't reassured by the amount of times POSSIBLY and PROBABLY were used, she told me "if you want a definite answer then go to the ER" (which I should've done in the first place) She then prescribed me Zyrtec (which is for sneezing and runny noses) and a Motrin cream. Worst case scenario though right.wrong.

Later that night I woke up in extreme pain and went to the ER where they told me I had a severe bacterial infection.

Pretty nice facility I will give it that but don't come here.

I hate to leave a 1 star review, but healthcare is not a joke and unfortunately this facility is at the core a bad facility. I came in for an extremely sore throat and a few additional other drastic pains.

The Nurse who saw me, did nothing other than have me open my mouth and say “it could be strep, it could just be a cold” and then proceeded just write me a prescription for antibiotics. This is a gross mistreatment. I decided to go against her prescription and went to another urgent care in which case the doctor actually did a strep test and proceeded to tell me that I absolutely should not take antibiotics.

Took my son in for broken wrist on a Saturday was not super busy. Staff was friendly and referred me to the doctor to get wrist set and cast

Stay away from this urgent care unless you’re being sing by the male Nurse Practitioner. I came in several weeks ago because my younger son needed amoxicillin for an eye infection. Everything went great. He was better in 2-3 days.
We were in and out of urgent care in 30 minutes. The male NP is awesome. My older son then got the same infection from my son and the female Nurse practitioner did not want to prescribe amoxicillin. Instead he got eye drops.

This place is great & they take medi-cal. Don’t listen to the bad reviews I had zero problems taking my son here. They were fast in seeing him & listened to him, and gave him clear instructions to get him feeling better. And they called in his prescription immediately.

I had a great experience here. They got me right in, and and the nurses were great.
