Mendoza’s Taquería reviews
9First time here. My mom heard about this place so we decided to check it out together. We really came for the corn tamales, but we came to the wrong location. We ended up getting a bunch of different food to try. We got enchiladas de mole, enchiladas Michoacánas, a sope de asada, and a Gordita. Everything was a great. The size of everything was impressive because nowadays most restaurants do not give you good portions. Here, we could not finish our food. My mom really liked the food because she said it reminds her of home. We’ll for sure be going back more often. Customer service was good too.
The Food is delicious, the problem is they take an hour to serve the food then your not hungry anymore.
Never will I eat at this place again I paid $60 for 2 people order menudo that was juice an pigfeet in it. I got 2tamales that werent even cooked masa was like old cookie dough an sope was no taste gross the only good thing was their tortillas so i had tortillas an butter the rest I threw away nasty
This is a hidden South Bay favorite that consistently makes things you look forward to coming back for. I've also found myself taking a tour of all they have to offer, and I've never been disappointed. Top notch food and a great menu of amazing things that attract you just by the reaction of others receiving their orders.
This is my 4 time coming here they're always busy and very fast handmade tortillas always fresh the huarache was great very big portions pozole was awesome good portion as well
Good for the music and overall vibe, can get loud on the weekends. Food is average, tastes better if you are drinking tho
Best Menudo served with homemade tortillas. Can't forget the uchepos corn tamales with crema y salsa mexicana.
Very good and authentic Mexican food! Starting with the beans and rice, real homemade flavor!
The mole is so good with a little touch of spice! And flautas/tacos dorados were a bomb!
Now, the place is a little old and needs remodeling!
Didn't love it. It's a bit pricey. Quesabirria was good but not great, asada taco was a bit bland but the meat was nice and plentiful, and the chicken molé taco was okay, I thought the sauce was really bland and weak for molé. Not sure I'd come back, but they're new and I hope they do well, 3.5 stars but 4 for good luck.
