25This review is so overdue. I have been brining my car here for many years now and I have never been disappointed with the service team. The service department is excellent and prompt with walking to your car as soon as you drive up. My service advisor (Daniel Salinas) is excellent. His communication and his extent knowledge around services provided at this location show his dedication to work and shows that he wants the best for his customer's. Both the purchasing and service team have pullers set to provide highest customer service for everyone coming to this location. Thank you (G) and (Danny) for always maintaining the high standards that shows your willingness to help others.
This was my first service experience at Mercedes-Benz of San Jose.
I had one previous experience with the other big Mercedes dealer in town who shall remain nameless, but you can guess. I was treated rudely there and repeatedly lied to by the service manager.
On the other hand, Bill at Mercedes-Benz of San Jose treated me with dignity and was diligent in helping to identify and fix a warranty issue. This is how I would expect to be treated my a Mercedes dealer. They've earned my future business. Two thumbs up.
I brought my Winnebago RV/Sprinter van in for a recall. The recall was addressed and no other service was required at this time. This was the second time that I have brought my RV there for servicing. The facility is attractive, easy to locate and has comfortable waiting areas. The staff seems competent.
My only slight complaint is that both times I made an appointment to bring in my vehicle and both times I have had to wait quite a while (45 minutes) before even meeting with my service rep. I drive from the Monterey area and we hurry to make our appointment time. It would be nice to receive the same courtesy.
We booked our Mercedes Motor Home in for some recalls. The Service assistance, Brian was very nice and helped the process to run smoothly.
I am really impressed and will certainly be using this dealership for all of our servicing requirements.
We recently purchased a Renegade Villagio RV built on a diesel Sprinter van. The check engine light came on but we also knew it needed some scheduled maintenance service so we made an appointment at the San Jose dealership. Bill was the technician who assisted us and I have nothing but rave reviews for his service. The invoice was much higher than we had hoped it would be, due to the cost of replacing a bad sensor. That said, Bill kept us informed at every step and also provided some much appreciated explanations of everything that needed to be done, as well as why, and on what schedule going forward. He even spent a good amount of time trying to see if he could get the sensor replaced under the warranty (it’s a 2015 model so the original 5 yr warranty had not recently expired). He wasn’t able to convince the manufacturer to consider that option, but I appreciated the effort nonetheless.
All issues were addressed quickly and we had our rv back in only about 1-day’s time. We plan to bring our rig back to see Bill when we need to.and after his outstanding work and excellent customer service I wouldn’t even think about going anywhere else. When we picked up the rv, we drove away with a real sense of security that what needed to be done, was.and that we could safely consider taking it on the road for an extended trip without any worries. Thank you, Bill!
Very easy to make an appointment and easy to talk to on the phone. Jose was my service advisor and was so helpful in making the whole process stress free, especially during COVID times.
Don't stop here. Services are terrible! People are not friendly. Simply put, they don't know how yo wash a car right. I had to tell them to reclean my GL twice. Not to mention other services.
Fast and courteous service with appointments. Car wash provided after service. Courtesy refreshments and comfortable lounge area available. Long-time customer. No complaints.
Nice facility, near my home, very helpfull service people, awesome customer service.
Overall a real good experience for me.
Costs are high, but what isn't these days!
We had very pleasant experience in this dealer. At very beginning we didn't get much help, and about to leave before meeting Johan in the parking lot. Johan was so friendly, he introduced us to Tony, the internet sales manager. Tony is kind, frank and straightforward, we didn't go though the painful bargain process like we did in other dealers. Happily we chose MB San Jose and met the right people:)
This place has improved over the last year. The waiting area is a bit bland for a Mercedes dealership. When you're waiting for your car it's worse than being in a hospital waiting room.
The service level has improved. Plan ahead for a loaner not many cars on hand for unexpected extended repairs.
Great sales service from Chester and Eric. They were curtious and very patient through my whole process. Would definitely get a car from them again.
We found the car ourselves via Carfax, so there is no haggling on used cars, and the sales person didn't have to "do much". We were paying in full via check, so should have been an extremely quick transaction, however we ended up being there for over 2 1/2 hours, though they promised less.
After the service of my car was reported completed and washed and after I paid, it took 41minutes to get it from wherever it was out to the driveway. As a consequence, I arrived late for work.other than that, it was all ok.
Everyone was courteous, and the work was done on a timely basis. But they picked us up after the work was done; the driver had been smoking just seconds before we got in the car.
Bryan made sure that my first time experience was 5-star worthy! He was extremely helpful and kept me updated on my vehicle throughout the repairs. He's the best! I will definitely be coming back for any future tuneups or repairs. Thanks again Bryan, you're awesome!
Excellent customer service! Staff are very attentive to what I needed at the time of my service. From the time that I entrusted my car to the time I left, I felt valued. We should have more people like them.
Truly one star dealer for car service, Details and customer service, I hate this place, unfortunately the other Mercedes dealer (Stevens Creek of San Jose) had same owner that's means there's no competition between 2 dealers, I missed Beshof Mercedes Benz Of San Jose.
Tried tricking me showing there mercedes eclass with 19,000 miles on it and on car gurus it was just 9,000. Also seat was damaged and i was quoted 48,000. Really? Lol
We were towed to San Jose from Salinas due to sensor issues in our Winnebago View while on a road trip. Bill Beller, the Service Supervisor, made sure to take care of our problem in spite of the fact that a couple of his technicians were unable to work that day. We are extremely grateful to Mercedes Benz for their personal care and professionalism. Thank you.
