Mercey Hot Springs reviews
21Beautiful property. Quiet. Tubs and pool were great. You can fill with hot and cold water. Loved the bath house. They have showers, toilets, changing rooms etc. Bring your own food and beverages. They have picnic tables outside the pool area. We got to see a couple of their resident owls. A few wasps in the pool but otherwise it was very pleasant.
This is the comment in Spanish you are looking for. This place is wonderful, my husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, everyone is very friendly, the stay was magnificent, everything was very clean, the very comfortable cabin is small but believe me, you will only use it to sleep, we cook outside on one side of The cabin has areas to cook with a grill and tables, you can go for a walk and the tubes are open until late all the water is hot and very pleasant, we made friends we loved it, we will return soon, take everything you want to eat glass bottles They are not allowed, I am sure that you will enjoy your stay and you will be able to relax.
Amazing find for my long drive down Interstate 5. Stayed overnight in a small, historic cabin that had been totally renovated. Slept in a real bed instead of camping out - and soaked late into the night on a TUESDAY. Very few people at the resort and it was a very nice nature setting with trees, wildlife and dark night sky. Kinda pricey for the accommodations, but I will be back for sure. They even had a clothing-optional soaking area, which I liked the best. Clean facility and friendly staff.
Like others would say, it's on the pricey side but the experience is unlike any others. Stargazing in the hot tubs, super remote and private. Friendly service. Lots of cute things about it.
Hot springs with individual and community tubs, beautiful camp sites, wildlife, and a labyrinth.
Managing expectations is often key to enjoying one's time, anywhere. Mercey advertises as "low-key", "simple". I might say "rustic", even a bit "quirky" (looking at you, breakfast beverage tickets). I found it a little pricey for what we got, but access to this kind of isolation is priceless (and I'm sure it's not cheap to maintain such a remote venue). The wildlife was impressive. Many critters; I've never seen or been so close to owls and watched them hunt. The sunset walk up to the labyrinth was stunning: cool wind and beautiful colors. By day it was incredibly hot and buggy, so plan accordingly.
The mineral water baths were nice; good star gazing. Separate options for both swimsuits and nude. My chief gripe was potable water had no signage and was only accessible at parking lot. Need more water at a hot spring and lodging.
"Minimalist" sums up the cabin situation. Shared bathrooms were clean and modern.
This is a great place for a couple's retreat or a few friends looking for an overnight adventure. I recommend a trip down to Pinnacles the day before or after. You're sure to make a memory at Mercey.
Odd place in an usual area. I don’t recommend unless you happen to be driving through. Better to go on a cold day than hot
My experience here was terrible. Staff were not friendly at all and were rude.
The bathtub was dirty and I got water to take a hot spring, but it was full of all sorts of floating matter. My family just threw out $600 a night.won't go here again.
Accomodations were okay (maybe a bit pricey) but the sunset was AMAZING! Baths were ok but could be a bit fresher.
Pretty cool place! We got in late after a fabulous day hiking at Pinnacle’s National Park and our checkin information was waiting for us in a box outside the office. The water is lovely and gets hot, which is great. We did the camping option and the birds woke us early with raucous singing but it was definitely fun. Would stay here again, but be forewarned to bring plenty of food… the options are limited to non existent for mikes in any direction!
Had a really wonderful experience here! The personal hot tubs are divine and the spring water felt so rejuvenating. Facilities, including the bathrooms, were updated and nice to use. The real treat was the wildlife - so many birds, rabbits, frogs, and other critters running around made this place feel really special. Incredible setting, nestled in beautiful mountains and hills. Loved camping here and looking forward to stopping by every time we drive from LA to SF!
Quirky, relaxing, serene, remote. Everything you need to get away from it all for a few hours or days.
Small cabins with 1 room, clothing required hot tubs, lots of birds singing! Some trails, not much internet, pools, clothing optional hot tubs, camping, parking for RV's, very quiet guests, serene if you don't mind all the birds, I like it! I see pets on leashes but they said no pets.lots of gnats in areas but they aren't bothersome. It's safe for kids, they are required to stay in clothing required areas.
Close, yet feels so far away. The stars, wildflowers, birdsong, bunnies for you to ponder from your personal hot tub, or in the warm pool. A peaceful retreat for everyone - families, couples, friends, solo. Many improvements have been made, and continue to be made here. Take a short drive and feel a million miles away.
Outstanding gem right by the BLM public lands - which means unlimited hiking, biking, etc. Hot Springs themselves are best we have been to - with individual tubs you can fully adjust to your ideal temperature, mineral pool, and in fact all the faucet water is mineralized as well! Also, got its own airport for small planes!
Love this place, hot tubs are relaxing, natural water. The pool is warm.
Beautiful area. Plenty of outdoor activities to do.
Went for a company retreat, the spaces we used were amazing as well!
I always visit Mercy when down in the area! It's a gorgeous drive through the hills and a quiet, serene place to soak!
I want to go back weekly! Little Panoche road is gorgeous with it's canyons, plenty of birding opportunities (saw W. Bluebirds, 2 great horned owls, white crowned sparrows, house finches, RT Hawks, etc). The facilities are well designed and clean. The tubs with views of the surrounding property is stunning. Looking forward to camping and hiking along the trails sometime.
Can be good or bad experience.
Be prepared. Full tank of petrol, food & supplies because you will not find any services or food out there. Watch out for sudden flash flooded creeks on the road during rainy season.
Summer is unbearbly hot.
Tub are large but not jetted & are fed by very very warm sulphur spring water.
Family friendly & quiet - strictly not a party place.
Showers & pool are also fed by the natural sulphur springs,
leaves skin feeling smooth & soft & you get accustomed to the smell.
Small airplanes can land on the dirt strip out front.
I have been to Mercey Hot Springs many times, and it is always a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
