MERCHANT EAST, Los Angeles CA

I’ve loved this store in Santa Monica and was thrilled to see it open in Atwater Village. I’ve picked up so many fabulous things for my home and always know I’ll find something special that I’d never see anywhere else. Sara and Denise have great eyes, it always fun to drop in not just to see what new things they’ve added but to say HI too! This is a great location - fun place to spend the afternoon.

Merchant is a very special shop with beautiful ceramics, art, textiles and furniture. Sara and Denise are absolutely lovely. Warm and welcoming.which truly is the entire ambiance of the shop. So excited to have them on the east side in Atwater!

Even though I live nearer the Venice location, so happy to see there is a new member of the Merchant family on the East side! Beautifully curated selection of mid century furniture and art sourced locally and globally.

Great place to buy unique gifts at reasonable prices. A wonderful peaceful feeling as you enter the store. The proprietor is very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this shop.

Finally this gem is open on the east side! Authentic Moroccan rugs galore, stunning mid century artifacts and vintage furniture full up this location. After going to merchant west for years it’s great to see their new addition in Atwater village.

I’m so excited to see this location open up on the east side of LA - their original Venice location is stunning and transportive (think Mediterranean influence and inspiration), so to have closer access to Merchant goods is ideal? The shop is super cute with their display window, featuring lovely goods for your home. Sara and Denise’s curation is impeccable and I always look forward to seeing what ceramics and sculptures they bring in.

Merchant East is truly an experience! Stunning rugs, furniture, and art- as well as home goods like incense and candles. I love this place so much and Sara the owner is so wonderful! Excited to have Merchant on the east side!

If you have disposable wealth, I suppose paying $35 for incense and $11,000 for a wall tapestry is fine. For the rest of us, we will have to go next door and buy the same incense for $5.

If you have a chance to go this weekend, then GO! They just opened (close to Dune) so browse and buy Before you get some food… so you can double down with appetite. I bought a beautiful bowl today, hand crafted, as is the whole collection in the store. If you’re on the west side, stay local and visit the shop on Lincoln, both have beautiful, beautiful things. Dog (and people) friendly!

My favorite shop in the world now has a home on the Eastside! It’s my go-to spot for all things home/ceramics/art/gifts. I always find just the thing.

BEYOND EXCITED to have Merchant on the east side now! Over the years I’ve been able to transform both my home and business piece by piece with gems from this shop sourced and curated by Sara and Denise at the original location. Can’t wait to keep the collection growing, maybe a little bit faster now that they are so close to my home ;) literally everything here is amazing!
