7I've eaten at Merit Vegetarian many times. It is the best restaurant of its kind in the South Bay! The Golden Era and Rice Clay Pot are two must haves. And, if you leave room for dessert, the Pumpkin Cheesecake is incredible!

THE BEST vegetarian / vegan restaurant anywhere. There are more than 100 items to choose from and they are so delicious. I am hooked to their food and it really helps my diet. Online ordering is so convenient on mobile. They have best plant-based whole cakes in the bay area.
I only ordered one thing so this review is solely for the drumsticks. They have a strange taste that I didn't like. The texture is fine though.

Great service, extensive menu, good prices, and very clean on the inside. They have prepackaged sauces and spices when you pick up. The portions are great and everything is really well packaged. Will most definitely be back!

Great vegetarian place, good set-up for take-outs during COVID-19. We've been coming to this place for 10+ yrs now, and still love it. Our favorites are their House Special Rice Clay Pot and Vietnamese Crepe. We also enjoy their Curry Vegetables. It comes with a generous serving of the curry sauce, to which we add more fresh vegetables when we get home. We can eat that for 2-3 meals! Actually, all of their portions are generous for the price. Their take-out set-up during COVID-19 feels pretty safe and efficient. Most customers seem to order online and stop in very briefly for pick-up. Thank you for providing us a good, safe, delicious vegetarian option!
