Mesa's Mexican Grill reviews
17Was out running errands today and decided to try Mesa’s. Good parking, interior was clean and had a line where they make your food as you pass. I had the three taco plate, Soft corn tortillas and Carne Asada topped with grilled onions, and, of course, habanero salsa. Choice of beans and rice, or chips. I chose chips and ordered some guacamole. Two sizes of drinks, regular and large, free refills. Pepsico beverages Mug root beer, Dr Pepper, Tea, and Horchata. Sat at a table where I could watch a soccer game. There are three big screen TVs with different programs. The tacos were good but nothing to rave at. I have to say the cost was a little more than I would have thought. Will have to return to try one of the burritos.
Huge portions of food in assembly line. Quick and service is always good, 4-5 TVs playing sports and beer specials on some nights.
The food was delicious. The cilantro rice and black beans were well seasoned the chips weren't too salty either. Best of all the service was the best you guys put Chipotles food to shame. I used to go there for healthy options but having more options like Mahi Mahi tacos and using impossible meat instead of tofu is a welcome change for me. This will be my new spot for Mexican food.
The chicken pieces were smaller than the corn and they give you the tiniest helping of it. You’re better off making yourself something at home.
Great place for reasonable priced food that tastes great. My only complaint is how early they close
Food has always been really good and they are willing to customize your plate to get you what you want. I definitely recommend their tacos!
Food is ok. Usually hit or miss. My main issue is with the service. The workers are either VERY slow or appear not to care at all. To be fair, they only have one person working the line, even during a lunch rush. Cashier often forgets to charge for things. Victor’s is far better.
This was our first visit to Mesa. We ordered the Loaded Burrito and the Bean and Cheese Burrito. We also oreded chips. The food was very tasty and served hot. The young man who took our order was very friendly and gave us our order immediately. Zero wait time. We will definitely be back. MIGHTY MIGHTY BIG BURRITOS!
I was satisfied with my food. Only for my guacamole tasted of beef. I could not eat it. Other than that it was good.
I made a mistake on my order, but they fix it anyway with no hassle and the food was great
Dirty! My husband and I went in for dinner last night because we wanted something quick and easy. As soon as I saw the food in the display I wanted to leave. The food looked old/bad (crusty beans, dried out meat, etc.). There was also a mess of food all over the floor. It looked like it hasn’t been cleaned well in quite some time.
My husband, however, didn’t feel like driving anywhere else, so I agreed to stay but just got a cheese quesadilla. While the associate was making the quesadilla another young man came by with the sleeve to put it in. While standing in front of me with the quesadilla sleeve, he started rubbing snot from his nose with the inside of his shirt collar. He continued to use the inside of his shirt to wipe his nose repeatedly while handling food and not changing his gloves or washing his hands. He also kept touching/adjusting his headset with his gloves on and going back to making food. I watched him even hold fish in his hand and use the same hand with the fish to adjust his headset again, so the fish touched his long curly hair. He proceeded to throw the fish into the pan to cook it. My husband ended up spitting out his burrito because the chicken was so hard and let me have the “you were right” look. The associates desperately need food handling training and the place needs a good deep clean. I don’t plan on ever going back.
Only giving two stars because of the service. I understand being busy but the workers were not be focused on their customers they were running around everywhere looking very lost. I asked for black beans and she literally gave me like 5 beans. They were continuously messing up everyone’s order. I come here mostly for the servings but was disappointed. They lied about their rewards system not working but they did for the person before us cause she didn’t know how to work the register.
Ivwould come here a lot but of the last 4 times I have visited 2 I cancelled my order as they were out of several items.and the other 2 my order was completely wrong. I gave 2 stars because they were good at 1 time but sadly I just go to taco bell anymore.
I love this place
I usually get the bowl with barbacoa Spanish rice and pinto beans and I love it
It's really good and for a reasonable price
10x better than Victor's MG
We payed only 35 for 2 bowls and 1 horchata
The last few times I’ve came in Israel has taken my order and his demeanor has made my experience less than enjoyable. He seems as though he does not want to take my order and is annoyed to be doing so.
Food is pretty good. Staff is somewhat unpleasant. Prices are kind of high. Overall just ok.
The food is outstanding and delicious. It doesn't matter what I get from here, it is ALWAYS better than Chipotle. The seasoning and sauces are so much more flavorful than that other place. They even have fish tacos and shrimp. Might just have to go back today!
