Metropolitan Barber Shop, San Francisco CA

Dan and Luis were great barbers and wonderful guys to chat to. My two brothers and I are visiting SF and I tried two other barber shops before I came across these guys who fitted us in today. Good lads, would get my hair cut by them again!

I want to first thank the entire barbershop for being as friendly and accommodating as possible. I called in last min and they took me right away within the next 20 mins after my call. Wasn’t because they were bored. They all had people in the chairs when I got there. It was because of how precise they were with their timing.

Danny answered the phone and was down to earth and advised me that Elijah would be the one to cut me. I showed up right on time and sat right down. Elijah a great barber and very conversational knew how to communicate with his customers.

Owner Luis chimed in as well Danny the other barber into the conversation. We laughed and talked about life. It truly felt like home. I’m from the East Coast (PA) traveled to the West Coast (SF, Cali) for vacation and stopped at the “Metropolitan Barbershop” great people!

Thank you guys again for my cut and hospitality! Keep doing what you do.

Luis is super nice. Very fun to talk to. Gives great haircuts and is really patient with what you want. The shop itself has a harley davidson theme which is kind of nice. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Cash only and perhaps a bit pricy for my preference at $50, but I’m not an SF local so what do I know. The cut turned out great, just what I asked for, and the guys inside were friendly.

Luis Gomez: Great with the clippers & styling of the beard. Also, great convo with Luis & the whole staff. Once you enter the doors, you feel at home. Everyone is cool, down-to-earth, and friendly. It's very inclusive. Definitely recommend this place especially for a beard trim.

Alex never fails me on my high expectations in his works. This man takes direction very well and can even offer hair advice to help to better your look. He truly strives to provide us the best service that exceeds our expectations. I am deeply impressed by how He handled the entire jobs correctly with no hassles at all. Good works!

This was the first time I came by at this barbershop for a haircut. I am deeply grateful that I was able to visit this place. They never fail me on my high expectations. These guys are all pros. I love this place as the barbers are all friendly and give great haircuts. It's a comfortable environment to enjoy a drink while getting a fresh cut and feeling like a million bucks. Danny is especially awesome and will take care of you.

This is the only shop gives quality cuts and other services without you having to spend way too much. Both have friendly staff and perform their services very well. They have well-trained barbers who could cut your hair awesomely. I really appreciate them for doing a good job! Thanks a lot!

Awesome barbershop. I've been going to see Danny for a couple of years and it's a great cut every time! Really good vibe and everyone is always friendly.

I got a bald fade & an inch off the top from Asher today. I couldn’t have been happier- he cut it exactly the way I requested, the fade was meticulous and very clean, he took his time with the trim and made sure it was perfect for the way I styled it, and even did my neck & line up with a razor. Will happily be returning for the next cut.
