Mexican Heritage Plaza reviews
8Very good place they are helping the San Jose Community by giving the covid-19 vaccines to the people that live here in San Jose I really appreciate their help their very good and all the volunteers are really nice people without them a lot of people would probably not get the vaccine thank you Mexican heritage Plaza thank you
This is a perfect place for functions of about 400-500 people. They have got a pretty good stage and arrangements for functions like drama and all. The lighting arrangements and the curtain arrangements are really amazing. The stage will be big enough for the performance of a big team. They have green rooms toilets and all at the back of stage. The operators of the sound and lights will be sitting on the opposite side of stage and you can interact with them through microphone. So that the director can manage everything by encouraging their team beside the stage. Seating arrangements also impressive. It can easily accommodate around 500 people. The only problem i felt was the chairs are not comfortable to sit for long time. They have a lobby in front of the hall where you can easily arrange a buffet. It has enough parking space also.
Had great fun! First time attending an event here. Frida kahlo festival. Also tequila tasting. Booths. Food. Family friendly. Parking was limited. Small lot. Beware of parking behind in Condos. Private. To homeowners only.
I've been going here for years, even though I don't live in San Jose. I go for the aztec dance practice on Wednesdays. This venue can host many types of events from theater to music to celebrations. Now that the School of Arts and Culture manages the plaza it is being better used.
70 bucks for concert tickets and I have to pay for parking. I wish I would have known I would have passed never coming back here again
Now here's the thing it's a nice place for events for concerts it's can be expensive usually u don't pay for parking unless there is a event there the people who rent out the plaza may charge for the event all are welcome to take classes that they offer Latinos have the events there's but I have seen other cultures like people from India for example have theatre events there and they are awesome. I have Danza there wed night's with our danza group which is mexica culture also know as Aztec dancing all are welcome to our practice if ur interested in. Have a wonderful day God bless you all also sometimes there's private party's there and in that case it wasn't be for the public like a wedding so than u can understand it's not open to the public for events that today of course
I hope for more accountable oversight to really see where my tax money goes. Not very friendly with Non-Mexican people
Nice theater venue. The seating is pretty aggressively graded so everyone has a clear view even from the very edges. It's not terribly large either, so the back seats aren't too far back.
The plaza itself and the grounds surrounding the theater make for a nice atmosphere.
