Meza's Fence Inc, San Jose CA

In my mind Meza's fence is a company that specializes in efficiency and excellent value. They are easy to deal with. The two workers that came out were excellent workers, had high standards for workmanship, and worked well together. The materials were high quality. In my mind it is hard to ask a fence company to be better than this.

Meza’s installed a new front fence for us yesterday and we are very pleased. The fence looks great and since this is the third one they have installed in various parts of our yard over the last ten years, we know it will last. Their workmanship and materials are excellent. The installers arrived on time, were pleasant and efficient and left our yard looking better than before. We highly recommend them.

The whole process with Meza's Fence was great and I'd highly recommend them. I found them through Yelp and communication was good- they were quick to come out and help provide an estimate to replace the fence shared with my neighbor. After finalizing the details on our redwood fence project, they came and completed our fence project in the timeline promised. They did an excellent job removing the old fence and left the area clean. If you're looking to replace your fence, I'd definitely check out Meza's

Julian showed up for estimate on time and in person. Gave me a quote and his team was back a few days later to install a beautiful redwood fence. Looks better then I hoped. They were friendly, fast, and professional. I would highly recommend Meza's Fence!

We had Meza installed 2 fences and two gates, we were satisfied the first time when they installed our first fence (around 2012, no pic avail) and the 2nd time we were beyond satisfied (2021). Extremely professional and their work is excellent! We referred Meza's to two of our friends and we will continue to referred Meza. Keep up the GREAT job!

They gave us a fair price for a fence repair that was needed from a vehicle damage. They were quick scheduling initial site visit, providing the estimate and scheduling the repairs once the estimate was approved.

We will definitely use them again!

There estimator came to my home and met with me and did all the measurements and fully understood the scope of work. I was told that he would work up an estimate and give me a call. They followed through with everything up to that point. Once I received the estimate and agreed to have the work done I never heard from them again. I attempted to reach out to the company with negative results. I have the estimate in my possession as proof of their business practices. At the very least they are unprofessional and the worst case scenario is that they do not honor their commitment to their customers. BE CAUTIOUS.

Very professional and I watched as they methodically took down and replaced the old fence and quickly installed the new one. Nice process they have.

The first time they came here they built us a wonderful fence. We referred them to two of our neighbors who hired them and had fences built for them. Then later on, my husband‘s construction company has been sending them referrals for their clients in several areas all around the San Jose area.

A month ago they came to do an estimate of my backyard fence that I share with a few families behind me. We had a great conversation with Louis and we were ready to schedule the work. He guaranteed he would send me estimates quickly.which he did not.

I contacted Louis twice who assured me he sent me the estimates and he didn’t know why I didn’t get them and said he would send them again.nothing ever came.

I trusted this company and wanted to hire them again however they’ve been non responsive. I’ve called their office several times left messages. I’ve called Louis several times and after a month of waiting trying to get the estimate together they never replied.

I feel this was a very unprofessional. It’s not like they’ve never done work for us before and everybody’s been quite happy with them.
I didn’t appreciate this at all considering I have a fence that’s falling apart in my backyard. I needed the work done so my dogs stay secure.

Louis and this company just lost a good client and future work. We will not refer them to any anyone. They can’t return phone calls to their clients and send estimates as promised or show up.they’re no longer trustworthy.

In addition to this they’re supposed to fix my gate that they originally built somehow some of the wood was cracking and fell off in small sections. Louis is a no-show for that.

Considering how much we liked this company and Louis.it’s very disappointing because we were counting on them. They lost customers because They couldn’t be bothered to send our estimates or simply pick up the phone and call us back. Unprofessional.

They were on time, efficient and courteous. They replaced an entire side of a damaged fence within 1 day. Highly recommended!

They came by 2.5 weeks ago and took all the measurements. They promised to send an estimate the same evening or the next day. It’s been 2.5 weeks and I still didn’t receive the estimate. I left them 3 voicemails that were ignored, I texted the man who took the measurements almost every day, still no answer.

They built a fence for us and the neighbor. They did it quickly (2 days for a large perimeter) and with good quality. There were some small issues with plants, but they made things right and they worked hard for it.

I appreciate their dedication to do right for the customer and for their quality, speed, and price. They earned their 5 stars for that.

Will use them again.

Do not hire this company! They may do an ok job; they did an ok job on our back fence. But then we had them back for our side fence and two gates. They finished the job, left the site, and one of our gates would not close. It seems the gate is too heavy for the supporting fence that they also installed so it was hanging at an angle and the latch does not line up. To close it, we have to physically lift the gate onto the latch. This was a YEAR AGO. We have made dozens of requests to get them out here. After months of trying they finally sent out a crew. And get this- they "fixed" the gate that was not broken. Our one working gate they removed all the hinges and refastened in new locations, which looks terrible, but more importantly, THAT GATE WAS NOT BROKEN AND THE OTHER GATE STILL IS! One must question the aptitude of this crew that cannot recognize a gate that will not even close from one that is working. We finally got the manager Carlos to respond to us who, after months of asking, sent out another crew. They fixed the damage to the good gate, but could not figure out how to fix the broken gate and said they would talk to Carlos. That was late spring of this year. It is now mid September and we are still fighting to get Carlos to send a crew out here to fix our broken gate that we cannot even close and that we paid full price for. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! There is a reason they are a little cheaper. They don't know what they are doing, they do not stand behind their work, and they have terrible costumer service.

I scheduled a quote appointment a week after my initial call. Julian came at 2pm and emailed us a quote that afternoon. The price is good. After my neighbor and I decided to hire them with a few updates on our first quote, I texted Julian but didn’t hear back. So I called him. He promised to update the contract, and I waited for a few days. I gave him a few more calls and finally got the latest contract/quote. There might be some contacting issues with Meza’s fence. Just remember to call them. I understand they might be busy, and I am glad that they did the work well and fast.

They gave us an estimate and even called to see if they could come earlier. They gave us our estimate the same day after the estimator measured out the scope of work. Price seems fair for 60' of fencing will give them a call when my neighbor gets back to us

One of the most competent, professional companies I have ever done business with. Prompt, respectful, great listeners, and very accommodating to my needs. Really enjoyed doing business with them and will use them again very soon. Top notch company from first phone call to finished product.

Very happy with my fence that was recently replaced. The materials quality, workmanship, and professionalism of the company was top notch.

Best price of the professional fence companies. I used them many times in the past years managing properties. I always get other quotes, but they were always the lowest of the professional fence co. Yes, I agree they have some communication issues. But I am willing to make a few extra phone calls to get the job done right at a good price. What I mean by professional is they order their own lumber and come in a large flat bed truck with all the material and equipment. The workers are employees and they get it done quick b/c time is money. The most important part of the fence is the foundation and support post. To get a solid post you need to dig the hole deep. To do that they use a gas power auger that dig 2 feet deep into the ground. To prevent water damage to the post ask them to "crown" the concrete which slopes the water away from the post. Through the years some workers do it and some don't. You just need to ask them at the day of work.
