Mi Taqueria, Salinas CA

Great taqueria. I drive from the other side of town to eat here. In a town full of taquerias, this is my favorite. My only complaint is that I wish it were open later. A note that all of the food delivery services say they are closed, but they are not. Call them.

My Favorite Taqueria in Salinas. The Super taco w carne asada is sooooo delicious. Juicy and well flavored carne asada. Great green salsa. Horchata is also delicious. I eat here several times a week and you cannot beat the price.

I bought a taquito/flauta beef plate for my 4-year-old and I to share and my 3rd bite on my 1st taquito I had a long piece of yarn or twine. They offered to give me my money back or make it again but I'm not eating another bite of anything, here.

I'm just happy I was hungrier than my son and he didn't find the string.

I was just a little put off by the service afterwards. I got my money back but had to speak up that I also wanted the tax on that $9 plate

Stop then last week the grab of light to eat and was completely amazed with how good the food is. Excellent food, great service. Will definitely go again

To start off with the worker who took our order seemed very bothered to be doing their job. There was no greeting while walking in and even when saying hello first the response back was slow. After taking our order he simply stood there eyes blaring, this felt like the longest order with how slow the worker was he was very unhappy with a tone as if we were bothering him. The food was very plain. No seasoning what so ever the smallest amount of salt made the biggest difference. The tacos fell apart immediately when picking them up from how soggy the taco were already after just grabbing them. I’ll never return I left very unsatisfied.

The worker was most likely high off something. Was talking super slow easily aggregated. Grunted when we entered the store when arriving to pick up a order. Asked why i needed a receipt when i asked for one. Just go to bankers for the shrimp tacos dorado e

So they charge you an additional dollar just for super thin slice of avocado on a basic taco. Giving the benefit of the doubt I order 3 super tacos and a horchata. I take a sip of the horchata and the taste is a little off. I go to sit and the cleanest table I could find obviously wasn’t wiped down in some time. I wipe down myself with napkins. The guy brings the food and tosses one green and one red salsa samples on the table. No communication he just simply turns around. I see the tacos and no lime with these super tacos. It’s clear there’s no pride in the food customer service and sanitation. Needless to say I am disappointed and will not be returning to this place.

You ask for an asada burrito and you get rice and beans very sad that customers have to tell them how it's supposed to be but you don't go back

I ordered a super burrito with pork. What I got was a large burrito with little or no pork meat stuffed almost entirely with rice and beans. I only ate half and threw it away. It was also expensive for a small place where you order from the counter. It was disappointing.

I don’t usually leave reviews but omg so bomb I got the carnitas Super Bowl GIRL Im coming back here to try pastor THE CARNITAS are out of this world so tasty and bomb and they don’t be rashinnn it they give u a good amount of food

Ok ok, if I have to be blunt this is my fav place to buy the Veggies burrito#1 all day hands down. I recommend this joint.

Food is pretty here and at a good value compared to taquerias in surrounding areas. Service is quick, online ordering available. My complaint is the inside eating area is freezing around 50° which means from the moment your food is served it will get cold in minutes. Done heading or temperature control would be more inviting to sit.

I had two hand made super tacos out of buche and side of chips and salsa. The meat tasted old, chewy, and flavorless. I really wish this wasn’t the case, though, it was disappointing considering all the recommendations. It did not have the avocado or cheese which was another dissatisfaction. The overall aesthetics looked delicious but fell short of delivering a decent product. Furthermore, If you love spicy-HOT, that red sauce they have is amazing! You’ve been warned. The salsa verde was mild on the spicy meter and full of flavor from the citrusy tomatillos. Chips were crispy, lightly salted, and delicious. I will be back because this is a one off. They have a small menu and from the recommendations I’ve received, their tacos are the go-to. I was told to get their tacos gobernadores which is a crunchy shrimp and cheese filled taco with avocado cilantro and salsa — I’ll be back for that.
