This is my fifth time Bringing items to appraise. But finally understand that coming here is wast of time.

A five star auction house.has THE best things, and even though it’s an auction, and you can win or lose, the prices are great.the premium is hefty but still worth it.customer service is great, and if you buy something big they will help you move it.i’ve bought countless things from this auction, and I plan on still doing so.

Michaans is the place to go. Their Annex, and gallery have very high end things, beautiful antiques, and sometimes great prices. Have bought many items from here, all very high end pieces, and i’ve never been disappointed with price, or the item! Customer service is mediocre, but making an appointment is easy, and the caller is very kind. Most of the bad reviews are little things that can go wrong anywhere. It’s always worth a try

Just Plain and rude customer service. I called to make a payment and was talked to like no other place has done before. What part of customer service don’t you understand? We are all Humans, We the customers are buyers, sellers and payers but most importantly we are Humans.

Registered and bid online through their website for an Annex Auction, and it was a very easy process. Went about a week later to pick up the item I won, and the staff was very kind and helpful. I left really happy with the item I won and was glad I had such a good pay and pick-up experience.

I was hospitalized with Covid 19 and this auction house filed a dispute on my Live Auctioneers acct. When I was released from the hospital, I contacted them and tried to pay for the items, My invoice was less than 30 days past due. They said I could no longer buy the items and they would not take the dispute off my account. What in the world is wrong with these people? Their other bad reviews speak volumes. Clars auction house would never do such a thing!

Brought them some high quality gem jewelry for selling, The price I told them is the lowest price I can accept, but they sold them in just half price which is incredible low price on April 11th. A 10ct aquamarine with 14K white gold pendant is sold for $275, blue sapphire 18k yellow gold ring with diamonds $300, Pink sapphire 18K yellow gold ring sold for $500, each item with GIA certificate, these money can even buy the gemstone!
I try to contact them, they don’t wanna answer, anyone who bought my item, just let me know.

Attended my first auction this past weekend. Very friendly and helpful staff, auctioneers make the auction fun and exciting. Love my purchase and will definitely be back!

THEY BROKE MY ITEM AND REFUSE TO TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR REFUND MY MONEY.

In the strongest possible terms, I would not recommend purchasing anything for Michaan’s auction. I purchased a stone fountain through them and decided to go with one of their recommended shippers. Though it is standard (and in their blanket terms) to pick up the item with in 15 days, due to logistics, all parties agreed (and I have in writing from Michaan’s) that it was ok to leave the large item in place until the their recommended shipper could deliver (never did any person from Michaan’s say there was any problem whatsoever).

When the shipper went to pick up the item, when they arrived, they called me and told me that it had been broken by Michaan’s.

Forward months and dozens of calls later, this morning I received a call from Michaan’s denying any responsibility because it was not picked up within 15 days (their loophole).

There are not even words for this type of opportunistic shady business.

Have to be careful how you bid. The business tacks on a hefty tax. Great variety and quality!
