Craft Store Michaels reviews
16 Very surprise that for being Black Friday.
Not good sales, still the same as every day.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to help me find the products I needed. I would recommend anyone whoo loves crafting and decorating as I do to visit the Michaels on Ming Ave in Bakersfield Ca.
Didn't really know what I wanted just trying to finish a project and I found exactly what I needed and project is looking awesome!
This place is terrible! Soon as you walk in the employees are hovering over you like Vultures. They are watching everybody shop as in if you are "shoplifting". You would think they'd ask if you need assistance while you were browsing. They just stare from behind, around corners, through shelves and communicating to each other as if they were undercover agents. It's ridiculous to shop in that store. Of course they are operating in a rough area but not everyone comes in to steal.
I usually like Michael's but the store was very hot, and it was very hot outside the day I went, I guess they cut back on the cooling? Poor employees!
But I do like shopping there. The lady at register was very helpful and always helps me with the coupons on my phone app.
Good deals and sales.
This store is so clean and well organized, and it's not as "over the top on your face" like Hobby Lobby. Much more affordable as well. All of the empress were super helpful and friendly.
Found hard to find spray paint at this place. Will be coming back for all my art needs from now on.
Michael's is always perfectly (or near perfectly) organized and very easy to find what you're looking for. The hard part is taking your eyes off the merchandise long enough to find the checkout lane before racking up a cart full of products.
The staff is and always has been very kind. 10/10.
Went to Michael’s for mother’s day and picked up three skeins of yarn and got to see someone I hadn’t seen in awhile. It was nice. Staff was lovely and professional. It was way to hot inside though. Felt like no ac and couple with wearing a mask it was kind of miserable.
Dang I went there and it looks like maze, things are piled up like walls come on man make the store more welcome and not like a warehouse. May be people get what they want but I was lost inside so just came out without shopping
The store is smaller than expected. But, they still had a great variety of item as Michael's is known for plus the additional sales and.coupon made this a good shopping experience. Clean store and professional staff.
This Michaels on ming has unfortunately been managed and owned by someone who just doesn't care anymore, the Michaels on Rosedale hwy is a 360 compared to this one, we went to this one because years ago we had a custom frame put on a oil canvas we had purchased and the workers and customer service was excellent, that was unfortunately yeas ago, walking up to this place reminded me of a old western, dust and trash were strewn all over and it looked like someone or a group of people found a place to urinate and management maybe cleaned it a few times then said ah the heck with it, we went inside and spoke to 2 workers and asked them for a few items and they both looked at us like why are you bothering me, and a reply of um if we have that it would be over there in those aisles, look in this day and age the internet is taking over literally everything we do including how we shop, and if places like this want to continue to stay open customer service is the name of the game, Michaels clean up outside and have your workers get familiar with your products, because if those amazing coupons expire and you don't improve customer service your done, there is a gentleman who does the custom frames who is great to work with but I think he mainly does that?
I always enjoy Michael's.join rewards program, it's free and worth it. I had a $15 voucher to use today, so I didn't have to spend any money but still got what I needed today.
They were really nice and the place wasn't crowded but they didn't have what I was looking for.totally but it was an in-and-out trip
Store is always neat and clean, workers always friendly and willing to help, if you need supply for crafts this is the store
Things are so much harder to find since the remodel/reorganizing. Some items that I've previously purchased there are no longer carried. Service is still very friendly, but not as knowledgeable as prior older associates. I'd still recommend them over the warehouse sized competition.
