Craft Store Michaels reviews
14It is so much fun to shop here. They have a large and wide variety of art, craft and decor to pick from. Friendly employees. Good prices and coupons. Though the embroidery department is sad. Stock is low and no kits or books! Disappointed. The yarn section is shrinking also. I am not happy about this either. Jewelry section has a good selection. Yarn section after months is still disappointing!
Great craft store with plenty of supplies for anything from scrapbook, painting, sewing and more.
Good selection of craft supplies and I love the order online and pick up in store when I am limited on time!
I really like this location. It's clean, well organized and the staff are very nice. I've had to make returns a few times and have never felt like I was an inconvenience. They have the best Halloween items in town and I love seeing the Lenox spooky town items that they have on display.
Expensive but they have great sales! Staff is very helpful and determined to find what your looking for or something that will work
Love the store prices r ok love the clearance wall wish they would bring back the 5 dollar boxes they were cool
Brilliant customer service. They couldn't do enough for us. Really appreciated the help and expert advice. Find your inner artisan here.
The check out clerk and the manager went out of their way to help me find out information about a product I wanted to purchase!
It looks like Michael's is fighting hard to gain the top spot in the "big box craft store" arena in Chico. With Joann having the lock on fabrics and sewing and Hobby Lobby having opened up around the corner; Michaels had to do some work to catch up. They have an excellent selection of frames of every style plus the custom frame department. They stock lots of canvases, paints, brushes, pens, pencils, sketchbooks, and art supplies for the painter or drawn artist. Scrapbook supplies are decent, as well as jewelry, woodworking, floral, and wedding supplies. The real "big show" however is their selection of holiday decor, I anxiously await the unveiling each season. They also host crafting classes for adults (check their website) and for children all summer long FOR FREE! You just have to sign up! I am impressed with how they turned this store around, and it's now a place I enjoy. Keep up the good work!
Michael’s is a good place to find almost everything you’ll need for making that perfect craft for fun or share with a group like birthday parties, churches, home schools and craft fairs. They have over 15 categories to choose from. I mostly have bought yarns and needlework, for crocheting. Beads & jewelry for making some spectacular earnings, necklaces and ankle bracelets. They also carry holiday items and you’ll always find a variety of on sale items. They also have in-store classes with materials provided.
Went in to get a few watercolor supplies. Grumbacher. 25 oz tunes were on clearance - 50% off, so I bought one of every color I didn't have. Hopefully Michael's isn't discontinuing Grumbacher small tube paints. The watercolor brush stock was REALLY low for individual brushes. No large rounds, nor filberts, the two I was after. Hopefully, it is just a temporary supply issue.
Every time I'm there Jenni is working and she is amazing! She is always available to answer any questions. Checkout can take a while if you go to a checker, but now you can self check using a card which is nice for a quick purchase.
Always have what I need and the staff don't follow you around like your going to steal something.
Lots and lots of craft supplies. A little overwhelming how much there is to see. I am not a craft maker but my mom is and she seems to always find what she needs there.
