Mid City Motor World reviews
14Very few cars to look at. The lady that came to "help" us didn't even recognize our car model of Audi 8. How can you work in the industry and not know cars
The best vehicle dealership north of Ukiah. For a great vehicle at a great price you gotta see the people at this dealership. No pressure, just honest sales representatives that want you to be happy with your ourchase. Low down payments, and low monthly payments, cash discounts sometimes acailable. See habla Espanol.
I’d like to especially call out Mike Shapiro and Brad in service for excellence. I bought a used car from them several months ago and it turned out to be a disaster vehicle. The car immediately developed a myriad of severe mechanical issues and spent months in the shop with very little in the way of results. Obviously these circumstances were completely unforeseen and unprecedented. Once the deal is complete, however, the dealership assumes no responsibility for the vehicle. Despite this, the folks at Mid City went above and beyond, they bent over backward to make things right and I am very grateful. There’s no question that I will be returning to Mid City Motor World the next time I’m in the market for a new vehicle and I encourage you to do the same. These folks care and take excellent care of their customers.
Basically, I would give a hundred stars if I could. My son recently bought a lightly used car from Mid City. To make a long story short, the car ended up having some unlucky, unforseen and significant mechanical issues. Though Mid City was in no way responsible for these issues, the sales team (Mike Shapiro and his managers) and service department (Nate) actually and truly cared and went way above and beyond to help. After this experience, I would not consider buying a car anywhere else but here.
These guys work hard, are very personable and explain wgats going on. Shout out to Colton in service. Thanks for your help
Sold me a branded title car and have been less then forthcoming with information and also have been quite rude when I ask for said information. All in all they’re sheisty don’t go here.
On time appt, courteous service folks and clear explanation of costs. I thought I needed additional services but service rep.showed me the car's history & it had already been completed on the last service. NICE SURPRISE.
They did not care to help us at all. They have very little cars to choose from. It was bad experience all the way around. Sales person arrogant withered either take it or leave it price. No working to help us in a car whatsoever. Would never go back.
My husband and I have been buying cars from them for years, up until now. We made a purchase in March. The truck started having brake problems and other problems. We have always trusted them with good reliable well inspected cars. We know Victor is no longer managing, he retired. He made sure things were done right. I don’t know what the new manager’s name is, but he is doing an awful job. His cars are no longer being well inspected. People come out of the area to buy up here. DON’T do it You might end up getting a lemon. It’s sad to say, but I don’t think they care anymore. They have great employees, but I’ve heard how he bosses employees around and many of the people that use to work there have had to move on because he’s so demanding! I felt I need to share this because it’s just not right!
Took me right in without an appointment when my car was experiencing an issue, took care of it and got me back on the road quickly!
Ross is awesome, so positive, nice guy, so understanding of my needs, I'm a happy lady thank you, Mid City Motor World/ Ross
First time going there to purchase a car, had a horrible experience! I have always heard horror stories about Mid City but thought maybe it wasn't that bad. Well, the first guy I spoke with was friendly and very helpful but he had an appointment show up so he had asked his coworker to help me. The second guy wasn't so friendly, also didn't show as much interest as to what I was looking for. He was actually kind of rude, very dry sense of humor. To make a very long story short, I was offered an insulting trade in amount on my vehicle, with no movement on the vehicles price I was interested in. I found it very disappointing that Mid City was so unfriendly and non accommodating to their potential customers, like I was begging to have the sale. I decided to go back to a dealership where I felt appreciated. Do yourself a favor and DON'T COME HERE
Great experience at this car dealership. Impeccable service In the service department from Nate! From scheduling to follow up and fixing my vehicle promptly, Mid City gets 5 stars. Customer satisfaction is important & these guys go above and beyond. Mark (I think that is his name:) in the service department is also great.
