Mid-Wilshire Dental Care reviews
1 My dentist retired after caring for me for 30 years. Found this place close to home and it turns out it’s all about the Benjamin’s $$$$. I needed a couple of root canals so I went ahead and got it done here. The dental assistant kept jamming the air vacuum hard in the bottom portion of my mouth while not even looking, it was so bad I had to stop the procedure. The Dental assistant placed the cap on without the DR in the room (I believe against California State Board), placed the cure light on the tooth for too short a time, didn’t cure the cement properly. Then got the drill out and started to clean up excess cement with a cavity drill bit! Not good! I left, only to come back because the crown was too high. The owner grinded a bit off, still felt odd. Lo and behold 8 months later the crown falls off. I go back and spend more time in the office to have it placed back on. The owner gets it right this time, cements it and cures it himself. I guess 3’s a charm! This has all taken place over the past 8 to 10 months. Do you think this office has any type of guarantee? Proud of their work? Nope, still charged my insurance and asked me to pay the $12.50 deductible. I questioned charging me and their response was I didn’t have to pay the deductible portion…. Lol it wasn’t the money, it’s standing behind your work, your craft.
Last year they maxed my policy $2k and got $10k cash from me and they have no guarantee or pride for the work they do. I’m truly embarrassed for them.
