Brake Shop Midas reviews
14I love their honesty and this is the only place I will take my cars for repairs. Stay clear away of their neighbors, Perfect Auto.
Terrible Customer service and Terrible workmanship! Purchased new brakes and two weeks later went back because of squeaking. They made adjustments and two weeks later they were squeaking again! They made EXCUSES and never fixed it.
Got my brake fluid checked here and it went smooth, dropped off the car and came back to get it, reasonable price
DECEMBER 2021. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. In October of this year, I towed my truck to them for a no crank/no start issue. I could not figure out what was wrong with my 2004 Ford Ranger. It would not take a jump or from research, fuel pump could've failed. The store manager, David, stated they would look at it and do a fuel pressure test. David called me less than an hour later and stated that the test found zero pressure. He never mentioned anything electrical or that I may have a bad battery. After a new fuel pump was installed, and I took the truck home, as it started like normal when I got it back. And which I believe they used a trickle charger to charge up the battery, I continued to have no crank/no start issues. I ended up figuring out that the battery had failed. It only had 8 volts max charge after testing it myself with a multimeter. And to this day, I have had no issues with my truck since installing a new battery.
I feel David and his team failed at diagnosing the actual problem with my truck and a job was completed that didn't need to be done. Instead of being truthful and looking out for their customers, they decided to overlook a miniscule issue and overcharge me for a job that I didn't even need. I spent close to $700 overall when I should have only spent about $300, if I had their team replace the battery and labor only.
I am very upset about my experience with David and his team. This had been my third job I had taken to them and they have lost all of my trust. I went directly to David about resolving this issue and offered to meet him halfway, but he never really wanted to resolve my concerns. It's basic common sense, if your starter motor and fuel pump are built for 12 volts, and your battery not meeting that amount from the get go, both of these systems will not work or engage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE.
This is my first time in for muffler replacement. I am impressed with the service. They have to order the muffler which takes just a few hours. This shop offers full service not just mufflers. Just ask for David.
Dropped the car off for a brake inspection. Even though they were busy I received a call/update regarding our vehicle. The staff was friendly and helpful and they can count on our repeat business.
I purchased a lifetime oil change in 2007. These gentleman have kept my 2005 Mazda tribute running in peak condition. Thank you Shawn for your help yesterday. You were great.
Affordable service, friendly staff, and the wait isn't too long. They get it done when they say it'll be done and at a fair price.
I went there for oil change service and D. Zapata’s performance was great and I would go there for “Tune up job” and brakes related work.
Midas is the best auto shop in Southern California. Henry and Steve are awesome. I have been a loyal customer coming here for the past 5 years and they have always been professional, kind, and caring people. I have taken my car in multiple times with small issues where they replaced parts and took the time to help me out without ever charging me a cent. You won’t find a more honest workspace than Midas in Tustin, in my experience. Thanks guys!
They lied and said my battery was dead and it wasn't. Went to auto zone got it tested and it was at 100% charged and has 3 more years left on it. I don't know if it was because I am I female or what but they didn't have to lie to me.
Great customer service. They go the extra mile even if it's for things that they don't necessarily do. They go the extra mile. I would highly recommend.
David and Steve run one of the most honest business I know, I’ve been going to them for over five years, I’ve sold cars and built cars through them and even taking any car from Highend to Lowe and to them and seen them turn it over. Just amazing how are those simple and clear and concise these guys are very thankful for them.
