I've lived many places and been to many different auto shops, but this is the first where I feel I can absolutely trust the staff. Paul is always diligent about insuring the diagnosis is correct before doing a job that costs a lot of money, and if he can't be sure he'll tell you. No games, good work, a fair price. I take all my cars her now every time.

THE WORST REPAIR SHOP I EVER BEEN TOO I ALSO TOOK MY CAR FOR A BRAKE JOB AND MONTHS LATER BRAKES FAILED AND LEAKED AND LEAD A LARGE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE. SO WE HAD COMPLAINED TO THE OWNER HER LITERALLY REPLIED BACK "ITS NOT OUR FAULT. " AHAH WHAT A LOW CON ARTIST AHAAHHAHAH. SO I WOULDN'T SPREAD THIS BUSINESS DEAL TO ANYBODY. PERIOD! DONE!

My Toyota truck had a leak in the exhaust manifold. They thought there was a crack in the manifold but found out it was loose and just changed the gaskets and got me on the road the same day.

The prices were normal, fast work, and great results. The staff is friendly and knows what they're doing. The manager Paul is were funny and friendly, treating every customer like a buddy, and doing what he can to fit your needs. I told him I was on a budget and in a hurry, and he got the job done quick, only doing what I needed. I'll definitely be back.

Took my Tahoe in for brakes which led to them needing parts they couldn't get till following week. They left my Tahoe outside in the rain with window down which led to water damage and vandalism. To top it off there were 3 empty stalls that they could have put my Tahoe in for the week end. Had to call Police and get it towed home to prevent further damages and thief. Will never go back or use any other Midas. Stay away from the El Cerrito/Richmond shop.

Paul and his team are always willing to take good care of their customers. Always appreciate the attention that I get when there, and they really avoid raking you over the coals on price. Very friendly, honest, and open to discuss what is happening with you, and if they don't get something right, they make it right pretty quickly.
