Mike Counsil Plumbing was very responsive to scheduling the repair of a water heater leak at my house. Service provider Xavier Zepeda was very clear about their process and how they would determine the cost and get my agreement prior to commencing work. Xavier's writeup of the scope of work was very detailed and very clear. He took the time to explain exactly the work he was going to do and itemized the cost for the work. I am very pleased with the quality of the work that was done and will definitely hire this firm for future plumbing jobs at my house. Service providers Xavier Zepeda and Juan Arreola did a great job upgrading some piping and values of our water heater and adjusting the pressure in the system to stop the leak from the drain line. High quality work.

I give Mike Counsil 5 stars for their friendliness and responsiveness. The MC technician, Yobani, showed up on time. He was courteous and professional. There was a drip that damaged the ceiling in my garage. Yobani explained he had to cut the ceiling in order to diagnose the problem and advised me of the cost. I approved, and Yobani proceeded to cut the ceiling and found the problem.
What happened next gets 0 stars: yobani diagnosed the problem to a cracked pipe and damaged toilet seal. He noted that the fix would entail replacing the damaged toilet seal, repairing the cracked pipe, and replacing the vent pipe. Since this was inside the ceiling, he explained, Mike Counsil would need to get a city permit. He said other plumbing companies probably cut corners on this, but not Mike Counsil. The cost estimate for all the work would be approximately $2.9K.
I decided to go with another service. They replaced the defective toilet seal, and found everything else is in perfect working condition. No city permit required. The cost is a fraction of what MC quoted.

Mike Counsil plumbing only replaced the part that is needed to resolve the plumbing issue with the shower instead of replacing the entire piping so I am happy with their service, responsiveness and the much lower cost compared to another plumber.

The only plumber I trust completely. Mike shows up, evaluates, and recommends repair work. I've had him do several projects at my home (sump pump, outside sink) with fabulous results. Highly recommended.

We had a water main line repair earlier in the summer that contaminated the line with a lot of dirt. This dirt then was pushed into our house and messed up every cartridge in every sink in the house. Mario was great to be able to diagnose the issue, replace the cartridges and flush the hot water heater that got filled with silt. Thanks for the great work and scheduling it around a teacher's work day.

We used Mike Counsil Plumbing for extensive plumbing repairs and upgrades. They did a nice job technically. Especially appreciated was how clean they left the house after each visit including have a house cleaner clean around their work areas and the dust that spread around the house.

Their prices are on the higher side. However, we found their professionalism and skills worth the price.

Martin came over today to unclog a completely stopped bathroom drain and I couldn’t be happier with the service. He was super friendly, communicative and knowledgeable. He let me know what the issue was, where it was and what the options were to resolve it. I think in all it took about an hour for him to assess the situation, fix it and clean up. I absolutely recommend using them!
